So this what you are up against. A squad with copious amounts of depth, confidence and one that is gunning for you. Yet despite my belief that the Welsh team is on paper better than Australia's (at least in the forwards), you guys always seem to get up against us. Another bad omen is the fact that last time you lost to the Scots, you smashed us next week 33-12. So I could never take this Wallabies team lightly, because they seem to be developing into the new France - completely unpredictable. Can't wait for the match guys. It promises to be an absolute cracker and I'm excited to say I will be inside Suncorp on Saturday night.
Mate, you spent the first 552 words of your post talking up Wales and how much better their pack is then ours. Then you tack this little gem of a paragraph on the end to make it sound as though we actually have a chance in the series. Lets cut the shit: Most Australian fans, seemingly most Welsh fans and anyone with half a clue about rugby realize there is a strong chance Australia will lose this series.
Why would we think such a thing I hear you ask? Well, perhaps it has sometime to do with our very impressive national talent pool being squandered during Robbie Deans' tenure as head coach. Throw a lengthy injury list and a horror test schedule into the mix and you find yourself up against a Wallabies outfit far from its prime.
So, lets be completely honest here: Wales are most probably going to take out this series. Well, considering the build up they have had, especially when compared to ours, they most certainly should. In the likely event that they do take out the series, please, keep your feet on your ground, and count your lucky stars that you have become the 2nd ranked
rugby team in the world because it will only be because the 2nd best
rugby nation in the world (well, tied 2nd best with South Africa) has failed to fire under an awful administration.
Yes, I am making excuses.
No, I do not care if I come off as a bad sport.
These things need to be kept in perspective.
