Sword of Justice

Surely we can beat a group of people who, collectively, cannot count down from 15.
Probably not the right thread for it, but I've always been an advocate for throwing a blank cheque at that kid I think he's so special. That being said he's on record saying he'd only consider a switch to union to play for the All Blacks so...Three years ago, maybe 4, I stood next to Chris Whitacker and Darren Coleman, the Tahs coaches and told them the one schoolboy player they needed to go out of their way to recruit was Isaiya Katoa. At the time he was the Barker College 1st XV 5/8th. He was in a team with Lachlan Hooper and at the end of that year both lads were included as starters in the world XV schoolboy side. He was and still is, to this day the best schoolboy 5/8th I have have seen. Yes he was a league focussed kid, but if a real pathway and money was thrown at him (ala Wayne Bennett & Dolphins style) he may have been convinced to go to the Tahs. We will never know as the approach was not made. Now just in his 3rd season out of school, legends like Joey Johns are talking his name for Origin. If the investment in identifying talent ever needed to be questioned, especially to solve the wallabies 5/8th dillema, Isaiya Katoa is the answer. After this Lions series, where I think we will lose 3 nil, and with a world cup just 2 years away, go and get Katoa now. This kid is the real deal.
Looks isn't everything....It’s not the size itself that’s the issue. It’s the size combined with the lack of athleticism
He’s the least athletic player on that list by a considerable margin
DC, Would you mind throwing McReight's, Tizzano's, and H Wilson's stats up for comparison. Sorry,I have no idea of how to get onto optayeah Tom is primarily used as a jumper and decent pilferer. He pilfered way more balls than the other 3, hit rucks better but tackles slightly worse and is ineffective with ball in hand in comparison.

Stuck there until his Reds coach takes overFair or unfairly I think Schmidt views Tate as more of a niche finishing 9 who can come on against tired legs and break a game open. Unfortunately for Tate he does that so well that he might be stuck there lol.
I'm hoping after this year is the last we see from old man Gordon. There's no guarantee Kiss won't follow the last two serious Wallaby coaches and keep him on the bench...

So, once again, the Tahs are responsible for losing our best talent!!! story of my life matehe was not able to impose himself on the Loins much.
He is an OK size for a backrower but not huge. In the Force game he was not able to impose himself on the Loins much. Maybe as part of a larger more dynamic pack he will be more effective? He is tough as nails and will not die wondering.
