Surely after a full season of club rugby you don't even need to go that hard at training? Not that I have a fucken clue.

He does what Noah does but better I would say.
He’s not as quick as Donno but kicks as far and more precisely and I reckon his defence is better or at least as good as.
You rate the “athleticism” aspect too much when it comes to flyhalves. We just need someone who can distribute effectively, kick us out of trouble and nail pen goals. He can do that.
His boot isn't as big as Donno, but you're right it's more accurate and he is better defensively (but he's always getting his head on the wrong side which is a huge issue)

Athleticism is a big part of the modern day flyhalf. And I disagree, a flyhalf cant just be a passenger

I hope Tom proves to be a great one

The Lynagh name has a bit of pull! Young Tommy is not a patch on his Dad at the same age.

That is not explaining the combinations. Surely you'd then start Donaldson with Gordon, and bring Tate and Tom on together?
Combos weren't going to mean dick or get it done. They didn't even select Lonergan in the squad yet he and Noah have the most successful in Aus.... Deemed quality of player over combination it seems.

You're calling that for a polemic? Seems silly.

At any rate I wish all of them the absolute best and look forward to the game.

I look at that 23 and I see a very specific game plan. Certainly not up the guts. A decisive method to move the ball quickly and rack up rucks for long periods of possession. I didn’t think that worked altogether too well for the Super sides who seemed to gain most metres around the corners, surprising me massively given the opposition.

In saying that, I would think we are about to take a few risks given the selection of Lynagh and that back three which I do find warranted.

Good work Adam.
How did Tom Hooper compare? Or did he play more as a 2nd rower?
yeah Tom is primarily used as a jumper and decent pilferer. He pilfered way more balls than the other 3, hit rucks better but tackles slightly worse and is ineffective with ball in hand in comparison.

Yeah look we had a big flyhalf in Carter Gordon but he got scrutinised for his goal kicking and game management. And Pasitoa hasn’t worked out. We are probably never gonna find a Barrett, who can do it all. Just gotta work with the 10s we got and coming through. They’re all the same mold annoyingly.

Really don't like Bell on the bench, he's wasted there. He's our best loosehead by a country mile, he's a 60 min plus player and outside of Harry Wilson who's going to be carrying the ball into contact?
That's what I'm saying. There is no strong ball carriers in the starting XV and you are playing against a too physical team

This is where I disagree and why I'm a fan of Donaldson. As a ball player and attacking threat he has what the others don't. He has the ability to step anyone and break away for a long range try, you can't teach that. And it's something no other 10 in Australia has

In my opinion that's the kind of 10 Australia needs. I find is asinine that we try and play this kick heavy northern hemisphere game when our strength (and instinct) clearly lies in our outside backs with the ball in their hand
