6 hours at work yesterday then a short turn around for a ten hour shift last night. The day shift sparky didn't show so I'm out to 12 hours and still waiting for the shift coverage to show.

If anyone sees a photographer at Lang park tonight who hasn't moved for awhile throw something at me because I've fallen asleep!

Can of beer or bottle of OP rum?

Five+ hours to go. Some of the lads would now be at Caxton Street getting prepared with copiuos quantities of libation

I'm sure that Genia is there for two reasons: to benefir from his combination with Cooper (not to be underestimated in the first game) and as a test of his current abilities. These are probably both best tested by starting him. If he doesn't step (i.e. back to the old Genia) then Phipps is going to have to start learning to play with Quade.

Not sure I understand this. Does size count when we are starting such a small No 10, and on the wing either of Mitchell or Tomane (especially) are bigger than AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper) and Horne?

Apologies, Im partial to bumbling. Just pointing out that, that Genia accuracy as opposed to Phibbs proneness for inaccuracy, and Horne n AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper) size (both have size and not as you've hinted) is more advantageous against the Boks especially in terms of defence. QC (Quade Cooper) is not small compared to Foley, and his attacking skillset are far superior.

Does this indicate a different direction, I should have stated yes. Genia, QC (Quade Cooper) & Gits as does Skelton, Hoops & Higgers overwhelmingly emphasise, as mentioned many times previously, that the game plan is quick ball, playing at the line that aims to turn, tire and pressures Boks into mistakes and kicking back. As opposed to Phibbs & Foley, which was marked by more structure and kicking for territory game.

Big call, but Im excited by the potential game plan with the cattle selected.

Phibbs gets selected out of club ranks on here so often that we should pitch in and get him a Wallabies jersey.

Is Quade Cooper particularly small? I genuinely hadn't noticed. Guess if he is too small then someone really ought to tell Aaron Cruden, Morgan Parra and George Ford!

I assume that the team selected for this match has put to bed the Cheika/Waratahs conspiracy theories.

He's going to pick the best team because he want to win. Hopefully tonight is step one towards winning RWC.:)

So you won't be staying up to watch us crush the Poms at Lords?:)

Well I doubt its satisfied those who ran with that theory! Secondly it has given birth to a new conspiracy theory - that the basis of these selections was to ensure a bigger crowd of banana benders.

No doubt both theories will be confirmed by any future selections!

Stupid post, nugget. You've obviously never had a serious sporting injury. If you had you wouldn't make dumb-arse comments like that!
