Well at least hes entertainingPhipps god love him. First pass at the ankles, second at the stars, line break because of his speed anyway. Scores.
Phipps. Love him.

Dempsey made 10x the impact in his 15 minutes than Hanigan has the entire season.
Uelese is a beast! McMahon and Hooper likewise. Simmons had a fantastic offload but not much else - I'd rather see Arnold starting with Tui / Rodda on the bench.
I'll have another look at Dempsey. Suggest you look again at Simmo.
Yeah I'm thinking that Cheika is orchestrating a mobility over brute back row. We lose the collision though, so maybe he counters that with big backs e.g. Hodge, kerevi, etc, but that compromises speed out wide. Compromise. Rugby is a game of compromises and balance, maybe we are too used to the norm and Cheika is trying to win a World Cup with a game plan based on his best people. Just maybe.Pound for pound, the leg drive from McMahon and Hooper is excellent. They both played well but I'm still not comfortable with our overall balance. Too much passiveness from all in contact first half.
But won't gripe here - they played a very good second 40 m in to roll over Argentina. Fitness seems to be better than earlier in Test season.
But McMahon was motm for sure.

He or Kepu. Genia was also good and Hooper outstanding as usual
