Yep that and the Valetini penalty right afterwards were insane. Momentum just gifted to the French by Pearce. It implicitly says to Australia ‘don’t compete’. Better teams are more resilient and can ride out those ridiculous moments - we can’t currently and it sucks us out of the game.
