If we are confined to 5 overseas picks, I certainly wouldn’t be wasting one on Richie Arnold. He has offered nothing that supercedes what our domestic second rowers can do. Philip was a level above when he came on, admittedly against tired legs which always needs to be taken into consideration.

exactly we have Frost, Phillip, Neville and Skelton and others (Holloway) for lock Arnold isn’t of test quality

And Argentina was a rugby outlier nation playing sporadic tests and losing players to Europe. There's no comparison.
Despite that Argentina is destroyed by NZ and SA consistenly. Wake up! The only team that is at Argentina level is Australia. SA is the current World champions and NZ is NZ, The Bledisloe/Super Rugby rulers forever

Australia is so lucky that they are gonna face the worst Welsh side in decades, Portugal and Georgia. Maybe Fiji can win the pool. It doesn't matter, this side is gonna get destroyed by whoever they face in QFs
And if they do, the sun rises. If they don’t, it will still rise. I’ll be watching either way.

Still dirty over that final TMO interjection that saw Quade pinned - he called is asking to check gold 12. Then Peyper said 12 ok but 10 high

Granted Quade was high but if you double check most rucks/tackles you'll find something

Open your eyes pal. Argentina have beaten Abs and Saffas in recent years. They've improved. Give credit where it's due. And throttle back the pessimistic bullshit for the sake of everyone's sanity.

Too slow and as events showed at the end, lacking a bit of smarts too. Cooper, Kerevi and Koroibete all well below par this game.

I thought Quade was fine though there is no doubt his time at this level is short. I wouldn't complain about Carter to 10 though I prefer Quade. Kerevi looked not up to it, whereas Koroibete just didn't have his best game.

In spite some of the vitriol I thought Porecki had a good game. He'll never be world class but he looks to me probably the best we have at hooker.

A couple of things that are disappointing :
1. the energy in this game was a gestalt leap in the wrong direction from the AB Boks game earlier.
2. our discipline
3. we really need to learn how to win close games.
