You know - that's not a very threatening bench. Where's the depth?

I rate Flynn, Franks, Vito and Mathewson. Mathewson has been the best performed half back in NZ this year. Whitelock and Cruden will be very good one day. Stanley is a bit of a mystery because they don't seem to have much cover for 11, 14 and 15. If Mils is injured Jane goes there but Stanley to wing?

If Franks, Vito and Whitelock were Aussies they'd be in the selected 15. We'd probably use Cruden to replace Cooper while he's suspended and play Giteau at 12. Stanley would walk into 13 now Horne is injured. Dagg would go straight into 15 to allow AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper) to play 13. Scarfy, I think you're a very hard marker.

If Luke McAlister finds form next year he'll add a lot of depth to the bench. He's was one of my favourite players. As well as Ranger and Dagg finding consistency could be very dangerous. Sivivatu also returning from injury will add depth. Braid returning to NZ next year will provide decent back-up for McCaw. They will have a very good team and bench coming RWC, bench looks a little dull at the moment but things change pretty quickly in Rugby. And lets face it the current NZ team does not need a bench full of impact players to win.

In case you were wondering and hoping? I'm afraid it's disappointing....the weather forecast for Saturday night in Christchurch is....overcast and rain, 5C and a 14km gentle zephyr....

So All Blacks by 20 then.

Noddy I mean RugbyReg,
At 1st glance it doesn't look like Fat Cat but I'm pretty sure it is, I find it funny that it's Ben Daley packing in at tighthead because it's definitely not Ma'afu or Slipper.

Odd that two south islanders go out for two north islanders seeing as the game is in Christchurch(although one was an injury). I'm happy to see Alby Mathewson get a game (been bloody good for the Blues thus far), but weepu is ahead of Cowan and Alby by a mile atm. Would have liked to see Ranger brought back in and have him start in the backline with Cruden and Dagg, but thern again i'm probably getting cocky :).

Ranger was outstanding for Taniwha against Taranaki on thrusday night and McAlistair was better than average for Harbour on Sunday. I think many players would rather play provincial than sit on the bench, just my opinion.

The depth is there, you just have to watch the talent in the ITM cup.

AB's by 23.

Wallabies by 3. This shit has to end sooner or later. My tip is it will be this week. I just hope courage is shown when selecting the team.

I tip the whole Aussie backline to sport Thermal Skins in a show of softcockedness.
