Good to see Alatani picked. Huge potential with his size.
If they select Ieli, it basically means he's can't play for Fiji. Or can he because he was born there?

Hard to tell if some of the Reds guys have been left out just because they'll get time against Panasonic, but this is maybe an indicator that De Lutiis (edit: might actually be injured) and Ross will be with the wallabies squad.
With Lynagh in the Wallabies squad and HMP with XV, Mackay might be a chance against the Wild Knights. Or Volavola if he's been signed.

Yeah, seems Ieli has gone ahead of him. I don't reckon Marley's scrummaging is up to it yet.
He's the best of them around the field though, and his scrummaging isn't bad, he's unfortunatly been lumbered with some terrible tightheads at the Force that have made him look weaker

I'm still not convinced at all by Dan Botha. He keeps getting selected but haven't seen his form warrant the regular selection tbh.
He's a bit cumbersome around the park but his scrummaging was good over Super Rugby Aus and he looks a bit bigger than 12 months ago.

Surprised Marley Pearce wasn't ahead of Alatini
He needs to work on the Scrummaging. He's fantastic around the field but fails to ever dominate at set piece and at the end of the day a Prop needs that first. He can get there in time.

Yoda

Nicholas Shehadie (39)
He was moved down the pecking order twice prior to his injury, and was left out of the squad for a guy that couldn't start for his Super team once he was healthy

Now a Rugby League player is coming in ahead of him after playing 2 games in 2 years coming off a career threatening injury. At this point there is probably a subbies 10 running around with more of a shot than Donno
Yes. Tom. I don't see how Joe rates Tom and Tane ahead of him. I get Carter, although a bit rich considering he has had a lengthy injury, played only one NRL game and hasn't played rugby for over 18 months. Joe obviously sees something missing there although he deserves a few starts ahead of Edmed surely? If he heads overseas I'm sure he'll go well... another one slipped away?

Probably sees that Carter has experience for one and is a bigger bodied flyhalf, capable of defending at the line which is the biggest knock on our smaller 10s. TBH, Joe managed it with JAS so it’s not impossible.

The way Tane has been randomly thrust forward despite not showing any form makes me think it might be more of a Les Kiss call
