I'll say the week after this is the best chance. I don't see DC making changes in crucial positions following a BP win and this game is a big chance to get an away victory.

Wouldn't surprise me to see Harrison onto the bench with time at Fullback during the game with Donaldson moving to 10 though.

At the same time, if Eddie has thoughts of wanting Donaldson to play at 10, it is silly to think his only communication with Coleman is a leaked photo of Eddie notes to the media.

It interests me that so many are dismissive of Edmed.

Rugby Australia sparks player war with NRL​

RA has identified a number of NRL superstars that they'd like to poach, with Rabbitohs captain Cameron Murray also at the top of the list. Other potential targets include Manly speedster Toluta'u Koula and Parramatta centre Will Penisini.

"I’m not concerned because why would you want to leave the greatest game of all for another game?” Rugby league boss Peter V’landys (the horse racing guy) told AAP in January when asked if he was concerned about NRL players jumping ship to rugby. "There is more to it than money. There is also enjoyment and the quality. We’ve got the greatest game of all - people will always want to play the greatest game of all.

The Rabbitohs' offer pales in comparison to what Rugby Australia are willing to offer up for Sua'ali'i's services. Reports last year stated that RA had offered the teenager a whopping $10 million deal over five years.

His decision to stay at the Roosters for one more year isn't a death knell in RA's plans however, with the Rugby World Cup coming up in 2027. It is therefore possible that Suallii will be wearing the gold Wallabies jersey in four years' time.

Well, it will be an open field, since we now have Eddie. I honestly couldn't guess at the moment.

Eddie's said that he's looking for 'workers' - I imagine that makes it hard to go past McReight. Not saying the others don't rip in, but McReight is ever-present.

Definitely not short of options, though.

I feel like he would go with an on baller like McReight and Gamble to start. I think Samu is most effective off the bench with his leg speed late in games but a lot will depend on the 6,8.

Samu doesn't seem like an out and out 7. His workrate isn't high enough particularly off the ball - which has been identified as a key area for Eddie.

I would guess that Brad Wilkin is on the radar. My bet is that Hooper will make the position his own, as usual.

Hmm nothing fills me with confidence. I hope Gamble really kicks on. Just looking at England's embarrassment of riches with Curry, Willis, Pearson. All big fast boys who are good over the ball. I fear McReight is lacking size.

That's brought up a lot but I think he handles it fine. Off some very basic Googling it lists Fraser as bigger than Phil Waugh by 4cm and 2kg and Eddie used Waugh a lot.

I know it was only a short cameo but he didn't look very impressive at all against the All Blacks.

Pretty much, it's great if you have a 7 who you can toss up quickly in the lineout but that's really just value add around the fringes, you should be able to get 3 targets out of your 4, 5, 6 and 8.
