Wallabies 2023

It’s not as though he was the only one who had injury issues during Rennies tenure.

claiming the toll was just ‘bad luck’ is a bit of a cop out, a lot of training related injuries and there were players like Tupou who were clearly underdone and brought back too early, only to be reinjured again.

Yeah, good luck buddy.

Maybe after 50 tests you can earn the right to have that attitude.
Watching him play for Australia A last year he was pretty ordinary. On huge money and did nothing. Plus, off the ball, which Eddie looks for, he did a big fat zero. Unless about 6 wingers get injured, he’s no chance for another Wallaby gig. Either that or he scores a hat trick in every game from tonight?

On the ball as usual.

Bumped into Quade down at tallebudgera this morning - daughter posed for a happy snap & he was happy to talk about his recovery.

Said he'll be sprinting on Monday then back off to Japan in two weeks.

Is aiming for a late rugby championship return & being perfect for the WC.

Said he's just taking it slow to make sure his body is 100%
Great news. Fantastic player, and one of the greatest delights to watch live.

Rory Arnold isn’t going to have any club rugby this year leading into RWC. His club have cancelled their season.

Eddie Jones was on the ABC 'Offsiders' program this morning. You can find it on ABC iView.

Interesting discussion, involving journals including Georgina Robinson from SMH, talked about why he likes league coaches, what he is looking for in players, meeting with Hooper and others in Melbourne this weekend, the need for an experienced 10 (discussed Quade positively), captaincy, and having players that want to play for Australia (in response to the Rory Arnold situation). Worth checking out.

Eddie won't take the long road, he'll want early success because he knows it's only a matter of time before he loses the dressing room.

Jed Holloway springs to mind, he was very durable during the season, playing huge minutes and then as soon as he hits Wallabies camp his debut is delayed for a 1-2 months as he has a calf niggle. Just reeks of terrible management.
