Wallabies 2023

So would u ban Koroibete from representing Australia in 2023 RWC? Who is your substitute? Lachie Anderson?

That's all, mate. Don't give reasons to @RugbyReg to ban me from the forum
I didn’t recruit Koroibete, but he is a wallaby now so that’s finished. Nelson isn’t I wouldn’t pay overs to try and get a foreigner to play union for us

I dunno - if he meets eligibility requirements and isn't already capped by NZ I don't have a massive problem. How long has he been in Aus for? probably has citizenship.

It's this business where one bloke can declare for a country and then swap later that's fucked. Not hugely sold on the grandparent rule either.

Funnily, Nelson has lived in Australia more years than Mack Hansen, James Lowe, Gibson Park and Bundee Aki in Ireland lol Half of the backline of the current best nation in the world

Great news.

At the risk of getting ahead of ourselves I wonder what the plan for him is once the season is finished?

Ideal situation the liners allow him a little short term contract in Perth to get some more game fitness
Liners have a partnership with the Rebels, no?

Either way, can't see him in Super. Club rugby though...

Eddie Jones promised he would have his coaching structure in place by May and, indeed, he has.

His latest appointment is Frenchman Pierre Henry Broncan, who was sacked by Castres in February – less than a season after sensationally overseeing their dramatic rise to the French TOP 14 final.

The 48-year-old, who has known the Australian for years after a stint at Bath as a scout and analyst, was a new face – albeit over Zoom – earlier in the week during Jones’ first training camp at Sanctuary Cove.

Another nobody. Very uninspiring, maybe he could be useful to tell Eddie about Staniforth

Wonder is it too late for Naisarani in terms of selections for RWC?
With Valetini and and Samu all but locked in, he will be pushing with Wilson, Gleeson for a third 8! Unless they only pick hooper as the specialist 7 and Samu as the back up so they can take 3 8s it might be to much! Or one number 6 but I think Holloway and leota will most likely be there

There are only two possible narratives:

Misfit band of coaches from all corners miraculously whips it all together in short time pulling off the heist of the century

or hastily assembled crew crashes and burns with confusion rife amongst a team without chemistry or continuity

I had thought Genia had retired.

Is there any way to watch this? I'll actually be in Japan in about a month but looks like I'll miss the rugby.
Replays appear to be here - not sure if they stream them live though....

In case of an injury crisis, something common at Wallabies camp in recent seasons, he could be important.
