Sua'ali'i prefers Aurelius? WTF? Why didn't anyone check this out before signing him to a multi-million dollar contract?!Theyre both avid stoic philosophy students but they disagree ardently on the most influential voices of the subject.
McLennan subscribes more to the Seneca school of thought given his more accessible prose but Sua'ali'i finds him to be too sloganistic and so prefers the more introspective Aurelius. After all Aurelius didn't even intend to publish his meditations so you can understand why he finds it more trustworthy.
Love the term 'Secret Meeting' as if their calendars are our right.Something popping up this morning on my social media algorithm about Hamish McLennan & Sua'ali'i caught having a secret meeting.
I really don’t want to give rugby league algorithm the traffic, does anyone know what this is about? Is Joseph coming a year early perhaps?
Agree it's ironic and it's certainly fuelling the criticisms of stoicism being a rich man's hobby in some circlesSua'ali'i prefers Aurelius? WTF? Why didn't anyone check this out before signing him to a multi-million dollar contract?!

As others commented - McLennan, Phil Waugh & Sua'ali'i had coffee.Something popping up this morning on my social media algorithm about Hamish McLennan & Sua'ali'i caught having a secret meeting.
