A bit confused from a rebels point of view, Kemeny over Hardwick is pretty strange. I understand that jordy has only played 2 half’s of footy in 6 weeks & Mafi truly earned his spot but on the other hand whist I love Isi he has had as many surgeries as games in 8 months.

Bit surprised as to so many Brumbies over the Reds but I suppose the ponies style is better suited for test rugby.....

Quite a few uncapped hookers though.........

Kaitu’u very much deserving............

Lachlan Lonergan a bit of a surprise - has looked good around the park but just needs to improve his set piece.

Rennie playing mind games with the hookers I reckon, shot across the bow of the incumbent test hookers, they’ve all struggled with form this year. The actual squad will differ

That would appear to be a problem. Why neither BPA nor FF (Folau Fainga'a) are there leaves me wondering. Uelese not so much given his injury history.

Certainly an eye towards the 2023 RWC with so many 20 - 22yos. But good to see Neville recognised for his form the past couple of years.

The squad seems a pretty fair reflection of form to me with an eye to the future as advised. BPA omission fair enough when he can’t be picked going forward. Fainga'a & Uelese both possibly a bit unlucky - but it isn’t a final squad and it’s not like they haven’t been given an opportunity.

Dear Mr Rennie,

There are too many Waratahs in the Wallabies squad selected today.

Please eliminate 3.

P.S. I am not a crackpot.

As a squad, it looks a bit light on for LHPs and No 15s. Conversely, perhaps too many back rowers and wingers.

Probably an indication of where some changes might occur next time around, along with hooker where there is a distinct absence of experience.

Swain and Timani over Blyth is criminal. Jock must be scratching his head at what more he needs to do as Banks seems to skirt on by doing the bare minimum.
