^ Sumo is no longer with Sky, he's Spark's lead comm for RWC & pops up on TVNZ (Spark's FTA partner for RWC) from time to time.

Loss Bleus missed a trick yesterday: shoulda claimed they were on one of the flights into C-town that got cancelled due to the fog, SANZAAR coulda taken pity & given them a draw........

This is the sort of hard nosed, NE Patriots approved, totally-cheating-but-f*ck-it-who-cares Steve Waugh level shenanigans I can get behind.

But knowing the Blues luck, and SANZAAR's incompetence, they'd have probably awarded the Crusaders a bonus point win, and top it off by dishing out half a dozen off-field red cards to the Blues.

Valiant effort from NZ's favourite plucky little losers.

But let's face it. Until Rieko, the oaf-faced gits never even looked like scoring one of those 5-point "try" things some of them have perhaps read about in books and magazines. The Cantabs 22 may as well have been some sort of magical mystical fairy land with edible grass and flashing Xmas tree goalposts

If this doesn't show how much of a farce rugby refereeing is at the moment I don't know what does. The tv ref goes ahead and says "not enough evidence, give a try". The match ref says, "do you have another angle?", lo and behold, another fucking angle. They then decide, "he is offside". Fancy that. (In the end, I reckon it was a try for the Stormers too, not obvious enough).

Highlanders man! Drop another certain try 5m out from the line.

Don't know why I watch this team. Opportunity to break with Naholo chasing, kiCk.iT.OuT.oN.tHE.FUll. Fucks sake.

Oof. Forward pass for the Highlanders try, two tries off Stormers lineouts that they've practically thrown to the halfback.

Absolute shocker D from the Highlanders. Rob Thompson has been shockingly bad these last two weeks.

Naholo had a very good first game back, shows what a bit of pace and power is worth. Highlanders are missing quality in the back line though i.e. Ben Smith. Sopoaga would be nice too. All those forwards that should be pushing for All Black places are not even in the ballpark. Not our year.

Crusaders now 13 points clear so would have to lose both their remaining matches (Tribe away, Rebs home) & 'canes win their three (Sharks & Lions away, Blues home) with at least two BP's to be overtaken as top seed for the Finals (where home teams win ~90%). Not saying it's a lay down misere but it's getting there :).

By geez I know the Clan made some mistakes, but by geez the Stormers played bloody well! Really enjoyed the game despite the result, and a couple of my favourite props were on show, Kristoff for the Stormers and Lomax for the Clan, both scrum bloody well, Lomax you could lay a level on his back it so straight! As an aside I suspect with Frizell playing 8 may kiss Akira's WC spot goodbye , as it will between Whitelock and Frizell as second No 8 as both can play either 6 or 8 if required, and can't afford to have 2 specialist 8s.

L.Whitelock shouldn't be in the All Blacks. Misses too many tackles.

Have to say I prefer Frizell, but just saying he would be ahead of Akira, just for versatility. I actually think Scott Barrett needs to stop giving away so many penalties or maybe his position just may come under consideration, as I reckon at moment he shoe in as a 5 who can play 6, and I would hope that Sam W, Lurch and PT would be the strict locks.
