makeshift my arse, that lineup should be more than handy enough to see off the "how the fuck do we drive this thing anyway" dumbarse Blues. Most of the 15 unavailable - apart from Hames, Ngatai and Nanai Williams - are bums

Lions keep finding stars. Fans not watching the Saffer conference closely should book this name on the watch list - Aphiwe Dyantyi. On the wing. Natural talent.

Thanks for highlighting the Mostert shift. Interesting way to cover Kwagga. I guess Saffers tends to have plenty of spare locks! Also presume the no 7 is the SA system - so blind side flank.

Matt Todd has broken a thumb & will miss the next 4-6 weeks if it doesn't need surgery & a bit longer if it does so that's six AB in CruSadists team rehab but Razor has still named a fairly decent 23:

Crusaders (15-1): David Havili, Seta Tamanivalu, Jack Goodhue, Ryan Crotty, George Bridge, Richie Mo'unga, Bryn Hall, Jordan Taufua, Billy Harmon, Peter Samu, Sam Whitelock (captain), Scott Barrett, Michael Ala'alatoa, Codie Taylor, Wyatt Crockett. Reserves (16-23): Andrew Makalio, Chris King, Oliver Jager, Luke Romano, Heiden Bedwell-Curtis, Mitchell Drummond, Mitchell Hunt, Manasa Mataele.

Apparently the change has been discussed between Rassie & Swys and it's not a special positional shift for the Bulls.

Buggers cost me a perfect tipping score last week so they owe me a win.

CGW reporting that Brodie Retallick is out with an eye injury. Odds on Tribe making it 13 in a row v Bloos just took a big hit, methinks.

Further worries for Tribe, Shaun Stephenson limped off during the warmups. DMac to FB but still wearing 10, Tiaan Falcon wearing 15 but playing 5/8.

Typical Bloos, score then concede, score again then concede again. Should be up by 12 but only by 4 & that's with DMac missing both conversion attempts.

The Blues are the fucken Waratahs of the NZ conference jesus. All the talent and still somehow constantly lose all the shit by doin some dumb shit every time.

How do the Chiefs get away with the level of slowing the ball in the ruck that they do? Kiwis OK with it?

I'm more impressed with the 'line speed' (read half a k off side).
That too. Though they have been pinged once or twice. Sad as the line speed is good enough that they dont need a head start.
