CS should be in there as there are still going to be kids good enough in QLD & NSW plus give a chance to kids from SA, NT, TAS to play.

Issue is running such a squad during the championship. Would require players to relocate for the duration. Could be possible at the U19s level but more problematic at the U16s level.

At the U16s level you could run a 2nd Div. featuring SA, NT, Tas alongside Vic 2, WA 2 a team from NSW either a Sydney Juniors or a regional squad. Say Newcastle/Hunter and Queensland in either a Brisbane Juniors or a GC rep squad. Same treatment. Focus on HP environments around training and development. Full schedule of games. Make the kids feel like athletes.

I said it after our loss last week, I can understand 16's picking completely home grown but the 19's comp we should be spreading the talent more. Maybe centralisation will help this. Grey could have more of a say on getting players games at different sides.

Brumbies started this up 3 years ago to provide a platform for the other Aust states and Territory.
Participation in this 4 day carnival (2 days are allocated for each age group) is going from strength to strength.

Brumby Runner

Jason Little (69)
Shane Wilcox and Angus Staniforth outstanding in an excellently performing backline. Great pair of Locks (Toby MacPherson and Harvey Cordute) with Lachie Hooper at 7, Lleyton Tautua (6), and Jack Harley (8) dominated both set piece and play in general. Cullen Gray orchestrated play like a long time professional while I think the Brumbies replacement (Jake Mead?) was the pick of the No 9s.

All in all a very good showing from an exciting team.

Caputo

Ted Thorn (20)
Maybe I have watched to much AFL but am hoping Finnegan from NSW U16 and becomes Father/Son for Brumbies

Anyone seen a Qld 15s team list?
