Would like to see the Kings boys learn to play 15 man rugby, not just bash and barge, and actually apply some IQ to their kicking game. Kudos to View today, scrappy but looked the more enterprising and much less errors.
Not sure there is too much IQ to go around between the Kings team. On the weekend they played like they were all sharing a singular brain cell. View on the other hand are very strategic and dominant win the ruck, they definitely look like they are doing the right things to go all the way this year. As the only team to beat the prestigious Joeys 16's side since the start of year 7, they are most certainly in form to do it again this year. We are in for an entertaining season.

Quiet a bold statement there Batman.

Watching this Kings side develop over the years, its very wild to say "sharing a singular braincell", or "not too much iq to go around". Inside Levi Strong, a very talented player - maybe even the best inside in 16s, and the 9, Macardo (apologies for spelling if i'm incorrect), are key spine players with well developed rugby IQ's. The Kings side play exceptional structure, and are very well drilled, especially off set piece. I do think its a bit extreme of you to say this @Batman, and should maybe consider your language in this forum.

I do think View will take the 16s prem this year, I just don't think Joeys are strong enough with 6 players in opens, but intersted to see if some players can step up.

Probably due to the greater level of rugby which is at Joeys and the talent pathway, a very similar instance of this happened where Jude Gibbs (A contracted Reds player) left Cranbrook in year 10 to play in the Joeys 1st XV. Joeys simply just has a greater development program, and the level of rugby is much higher.

Hey Stan (the man)

I hope both sides of your pillow are warm and you stub your toe at night and crawl around the room in an extreme amount of pain.

Harry haigh is an insane young talent looking to go professional and he's definitely gonna give it to those view boys who seem to be extremely scared of him . After reporting him for dangerous contact they are afraid of him
I was there watching the 16a game against score at scots and i didn't notice he was playing. Was he?

Stong isn't a bad player at all, but the best inside in the age group, Hartman (SIC) is playing inside for the 1XV. Can't really compare that mate. Especially considering reports the ball isn't getting out wide because he chooses to carry is disappointing to hear and certainly not of the quality of the best inside in the age group.

Good Morning, Footy Heads!

I've got some insight on the Scots U16 Rugby Team. Jack Currenti, coming back from a blown appendix in his leg region, will be fit and ready to play against Riverview 16a. I've heard there's some hidden beef between these two teams and should be a match for the ages. There's also rumours that Orlando Brown has shifted to Inside Centre in preparation for Saturday. I'll be at Lane Cove bright and early come and say hi!

He really took on board the Nutrition talk this week and has been able to put on 6.7kg, through a strict diet consisting of pork and a little cheese, led by Mr Currenti.
Surely Sam Dunn has enough mass on him; the way he storms through the field, demolishing any defender in his way, is breathtaking. He really is someone to watch.
