Recently I made the trek from Wagga, just to catch the Beasties (easts) U15 in action and lemme tell ya, it was bloody worth it!

They went toe-to-toe with the Mosman Dolphins at Woollahra Oval – ended up a 15-all draw, but crikey it was a cracker of a game. Tough as nails, proper footy from the young fellas.

Good to see the junior Beasties givin’ it a red hot go. Anyone else there for the game? Or know what’s next for the lads?

Stay Keen

They got beat by Randwick last Wednesday night in a wet weather catch up game 24-15 and have also lost Manly and Penrith. Set to play Oatley at home this weekend .

You can get a look at the comp on the Rugby Xplorer app.

Not sure of score, but Barker won against aloys by 4.
15As score: Barker 14, St Aloysius 10. The Aloys 15Bs won.

This age group and the one below hold their own. It is the depth that is the problem, plus the issue that dare not speak its name that often kicks in from year 10 and onwards which exacerbates that depth issue.

Hey boys,

Through the middle at your service! Thought I'd drop in just ask what the scores were on the weekend. Was at the hospital from Thursday to Sunday - not looking good for me you footy blokes - Won't give too much backstory but it involves my head and my opposite prop from repeated incidents. Let's just say the footy field was not a pristine surface in my days, I would compare it to a chocolate pudding.

I saw this Newington player who looked like a circle: atleast 180kg, bad haircut.
Didn't have the skills but defintley the size. Took 5 five guys at once and they couldn't even finish the bloke.

Please can someone help me recognise this big fella.

I can confirm that it was 43-0 dont know how waverly got 62
I was at that game - it felt more like 62 than 43

43 would equate to 7 trys (assuming only 4 convereted)

There was definitely more than 7 trys in that game.

62 equates to approx 10 trys and 6 convereted - thats more like it.
