93-7. Quite the preformance from Joeys. Could have easily been 100+, if all the kicks were made. Maybe next year Joeys Waverly...
Maybe, however this year Joeys 16s beat Waverley 16s by about 35 odd points. And that was a 16s team with about 7 of their best players missing.

Do you know what fixtures Shore 16s have and which teams they are playing against at Newington?

This 16s team has still got a strong pack, but their backline is as clunky as they come. Losing Hannon, Garci-Wood and Minto is a huge loss for these blokes

Predicted ladder for CAS 15A

Waverly (Already beat the best competition)
Trinity (Can beat all other teams, knox game can be good)
Knox (Beat Cran this week, 25-5)
Cranbrook (Can get job done against the barker side)
Barker (Nothing much to add)
Aloys (Maybe next year)

Even Sydney grammar beat Aloys 15A in a trial game earlier this season.

I would say across all competitions the 3 standout sides in the 15s are Waverley, Joeys and Saint Augustines. All 3 teams stacked full of representative talent which will feature at the State Championships during the long weekend. For CAS, certainly Waverley followed by Trinity with a big gap to the 3rd placed side. For GPS, Joeys followed by Kings. For ISA, Saint Augustines followed by Oakhill.

I watched Aloys vs Waverley last Saturday.

Aloys aren't that bad - they have some players there that would be make A's at other schools but these guys are supported by lower ranked B's/high C's players. Its a big gap between the good players and the rest.

Mind you they held their own with score at HT was 10-5 until Waverley coach tore strips off the side during the break and they finished it off at 55-5.

This is spot on.
Will be interesting to see in Term 3 when Waverley play St Augustine's.

Recently I made the trek from Wagga, just to catch the Beasties (easts) U15 in action and lemme tell ya, it was bloody worth it!

They went toe-to-toe with the Mosman Dolphins at Woollahra Oval – ended up a 15-all draw, but crikey it was a cracker of a game. Tough as nails, proper footy from the young fellas.

Good to see the junior Beasties givin’ it a red hot go. Anyone else there for the game? Or know what’s next for the lads?

Stay Keen
