I will be making a'lotta noise and waking the GRRR about 18:00 and hoping she wakes up and gets out of the wrong side of bed;and possibly take it out on a certain team just cause she can! :p

PS - Its also a ploy to distract her from the events starting at 20:00ish!

I wasn't home but it would appear GRRR was briefly woken mid-afternoon just long enough to do her thing to Canterbury before going non-eyes again.........

Coetzee sings the AB's praises but at the same time he can't wait to blame the players just like last week.

No coach worth his salt should publicly criticize his players. You take the heat for the players. That is how you build trust.

It was exactly the same at the Stormers.

""Maybe some players are not ready for this level yet," Coetzee said. "We scored a great try and just after the kick-off we let New Zealand in.
"

Some god help us. Any god.

People bang on about quotas. This is a coaching quota issue, not a player one. This guy is totally out of his depth. It is plain to see. He is acting like a guy who is untouchable. His job is secure. Performance is not a criteria.

Like everything else in SA, eventually rugby had to fall apart. Public safety, infrastructure, services, education, bankrupt national airline, the financial system is starting to show wide open cracks. The government and public service is completely corrupt to the core. We were naive enough to somehow believe that rugby could survive a crumbling system. It held up but it looks like it's all pretty much over now.

I'm calling it:

RIP Springbok Rugby.

I'll still watch and cheer, but with no expectations.

Will anyone be watching the game when it does?

Really? Are people gonna stop watching their team because the All Blacks are so good?

Will you keep watching the Wallabies? Will Pom fans still watch England?

The F1 comparison isn't really a good one as you compete against every other team at the same time at every race. Obviously you can only play one team at a time in rugby.

I don't think you saw a drop in interest in sports like basketball when the Lakers or the Bulls or Celtics were dominating everyone. Or a drop in State of Origin just because QLD have dominated the last 10 years.

State of Origin has definitely dropped in NSW. Celtic is a poor analogy as for years they had Rangers to compete with before the whole financial mess. A better analogy is probably PSG in Ligue 1 these days. Completely untouchable in a league with declining participation.

Even Barca have Real. Sport is about competition and if there is no one who can compete with the All blacks for the world cup over a period of 12 years (which is what is probably going to occur) then the sport is in trouble. It's that simple. There is nothing interesting about watching a foregone conclusion.

And yes, i'll watch the Wobs, but i sure as fuck won't be trecking out to homebush to see them get thumped in the Bledisloe.

I don't know anything about soccer so yeah - I was talking about the Boston Celtics.

While you might not go out to watch the All Blacks, plenty of other people will. Just like the Bulls used to be the hottest ticket in the '90's or the Lakers in the '80's no matter where they were playing - home or away.

That's why other nations LOVE having the All Blacks come to play - because All Black games sell tickets.

All Blacks squad for Argentina & South Africa:

Dane Coles, Liam Coltman, Codie Taylor, Wyatt Crockett, Charlie Faumuina, Owen Franks, Joe Moody, Ofa Tu'ungafasi, Brodie Retallick, Luke Romano, Patrick Tuipulotu, Sam Whitelock, Elliot Dixon, Jerome Kaino (South Africa only), Kieran Read, Ardie Savea, Liam Squire, Matt Todd

Tawera Kerr-Barlow, TJ Perenara, Aaron Smith, Beauden Barrett, Damian McKenzie, Lima Sopoaga, Ryan Crotty, Malakai Fekitoa, Anton Lienert-Brown, George Moala, Israel Dagg, Waisake Naholo, Julian Savea, Ben Smith

Moala included even tho he was a late scratching from Aucks v Counties. Also DMac in there despite not being risked in the Shield game (or maybe it was the other way round in both cases?).

Congrats to the All Black supporters. The score was close to 50 as expected. We need to take this losses to heart and turn the corner. AC will take his time before he do the right thing, replacing chicken runners with young upcoming SA players. We need to invest in our young lot specially our players of colour.

Pat Lambie made his Sharks comeback on the weekend & it sounds like he went OK. Sharks have the bye this week so does Coetzee pick him on the strength of one game or let him play v Lions next week then re-assess? Jantjies' confidence looked shot by the time he was hooked Saturday so AC may have to take the gamble.

Jantjes looked fat and drunk from his midweek casino piss-up. Bleary-eyed, decision-making shot to shit, wouldve fucked up the touch your nose and walk in a straight line test let alone having to sweat out the toxins in a test match vs the All Blacks. Shoulve started his prematch warmups at the stadium in a full tracksuit to sweat out the grog by matchtime

Have to go with Phi Lambda Lambda Lambda. But Lambda is a white and Jantjes is a bleck and coach is a bleck and marmite is bleck so quid pro quota all greek to me

How about you dispute anything I am saying.

This does not come from me. It comes from everyone I know who lives in SA. Friends, family. I have never known this many people who are still there wanting to leave. Never. People whom I NEVER thought would go are packing up. People seem genuinely fedup and have seen the writing on the wall.

Would you call rugby admin in SA competent?
Is the national airline bankrupt? Yes or no?

Is the economy on the verge of junk bond status?

Is the prime minister corrupt and has he and his cronies bankrupted the parastatals and sucked out the money? Yes or no?

Are local municipalities bankrupt yes or no?

If you call the police do they even come? Yes or no? Do they even have cars?

Has the education system all but fallen to pieces fro those who cannot afford a protected private school. Yes or no?

Are all South Africa degrees still recognised overseas like they used to be? I'll tell you: no.

Are kids who arrive from SA in countries like Aus and UK behind their counterparts and have to be kept back? I'll answer this one: yes.

Are sport administrators acting in the best interest of the sport or simply as political pawns of the ANC?

Is the prime minister the laughing stock of the world?

You can't expect rugby to buck the trend when the house around it is falling down.

Cluck cluck.

I wonder why the media did not get hold of this.

If it is true then it really reflects terribly on the whole system.
