Not squad related so I'll put it here. After reading this article: https://www.thetimes.co.uk/edition/sport/i-heard-my-daughter-crying-i-was-powerless-xxdj6705l?t=ie
I am utterly convinced that Australia should pursue Lancaster for the Wallabies job post Cheika. No other Australian candidate is up to it and I think he's learnt an incredible amount from his RWC2015 experience.
It's such a shame to hear him say that he wanted the Reds job but wasn't given it.
Really? odd that he'd leave before the World Cup.Koribete gone
The only really successful England rugby coach in the modern era is Clive Woodward. .
Wonder whether he will be picked for the Wallabies if it is true. Perhaps it’ll be Sefa on one wing with the dual fullback/wing on the other.Really? odd that he'd leave before the World Cup.
Edit: i am skeptical.
You are right, whoever runs that Flashscore site (never heard of it before) would have to have gotten a massive scoop the Wallaby selectors didn’t even know if.A simple google search suggests that there is no credible source for this. Also, that the same article ran in June 2017.
Fake news! (I hope)Koribete gone
Great effort from Cheika

I call BS eh. Why do you comment so much on a predominantly Wallabies oriented forum if you just don't care that much?I just don't know where to start in a response to this. Especially in a run up to a particular game. OK, to start with FP fabulous reference, just fabulous.
And to Cheika, great - article of interest.
After that I want to recognize that any rugby statement is of interest, but I am so annoyed by some of the statements I don't know where to start. But here is a clear statement from me. I am gearing up to watch SOO live. Haven't watched live mungo in about 25 years.
I wont miss the WB game this weekend. BUT It's just not important. Well not much anyway.
ps talking about important - how many of us are watching the QRU Premier comp? Hell, now that I WONT miss this weekend!
In Rugby we have important and we have IMPORTANT. Wallabies and Cheika are the former.

Interesting response. Whether we like it or not, more and more people are sharing Dru’s view, or worse. I have mates who’ve been rugby followers all their life who are now completely disengaged.
As for ‘what’s SOO’ - rugby would kill to have an event which attracts even half of the interest and fan engagement.

No worries FP. I know I didn’t specify in my post, but I wasn’t responding to you or Reg.See I can't change how you feel, or your mates, or Dru
So I don't really care, enjoy the SOO, if it makes you happy.
I waste too much time on rugby forums because I actually like rugby, it ain't perfect, but it is the sport I like to watch.
You’re right Slim - I did mean to put ‘Australian Rugby’.International rugby already has an event or two far greater than a game with no interest outside of two Australian states...
