The Wallabies Thread

How can you guysd look at backlines like that?

Harris an option for the Wallaby bench? Are you serious? Or Godwin or Hodge? Logically To'omua starts at 12 and Kerevi is the inside back sub. They are way ahead of the rest, with Beale out.

Also, Reece Robinson is nowhere near ready for the Wallabies yet, and I am far from convinced he ever will be. Where is the speed we got told about?

Right now I'd have Tomane and Haylett-Petty as the front runners for the wing spots. If the Poms have a smallish backline as is reported, how nice would it be to hit them with Kerevi, Kuridrani, Folau, Tomane and DHP?

Almost all of those players are injured, not sure if you know.

If Kerevi is fit enough to come into the picture, are we really thinking of playing both him and Tevita in the centres? They're both solid players, but I would have thought it'd be one or the other as they're too similar to one another?

With Beale being out and Izzy playing at 15, we'd only have Foley at 10 to direct traffic with everyone else being hard runners and offloaders. So, I would dare say putting Samu and Tevita next too each other would cause the backline to be quite off-balance.

I would agree with that Ignoto. With TK and Kerevi in there together we'd probably make a tonne of line breaks but that would be about it. You need to have blokes who can pass well too. I'd be surprised if Lilo wasn't in the picture to bring some of that balance between ball running and distribution. If fit I'd think hard about having Kerevi on the bench though.

Then Australia will do what it does best, play League. Just need add Johnathan Thurston at 10 and Cameron Smith at 9. And Jarryd Hayne could be the waterboy, I heard is another of his many childhood dreams

I love how people always bring up Diggy as an option for the Wobs. The bloke didn't do anything in his last 2 years at the reds and wallabies. He then went to France and did nothing and is now in Japan doing nothing of note.

Like Barbar said above its not 2011 ppl move on Digby would struggle to make the Reds again let alone the wallabies.

I know.

That's the point :(

I don't think anyone anywhere didn't think AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper) would be a Wallaby starter back then...........
