Is there actually a law in rugby union prohibitting charging into a ruck? I know I was penalised on the weekend for not binding to a player during a clear out.

law 10 point something. see Dean Mumm round 1.

I have a soft copy of the law book on my computer (available from IRB site) but am currently on holiday in far north qld.
Visiting the Red Necks? alla Skotman. :nta: ;) :fishing

Bakkies banned for 4 weeks, for anybody that's bothered about it.

Now the Bulls can concentrate on their 3 in-form locks(Danie, Victor, Flip) and let Bakkies get his head right. He won't join the Boks too soon anyway if you ask me, a bit of Currie Cup first.

The Bulls would be stupid to appeal this.

"JUSTICE" armbands on Saturday?

Nah, he deserved it - 4 weeks was my prediction, in fact. PaarlBok can vouch for me again on that one. You won't find me complaining about this one.

The one on Adam Jones was totally different.

Still think its a kak rule that one. Happens in every rugby match. To cite wasnt necessary, Bakkies gave us a quick start.

Yeah but Paarl that was too obvious. It was reckless however you paint it.

He is a fuckwit. Just as I get excited about getting him back he reminds me how dumb he really is.

I think Bakkies still has a lot to add at test level and will be back.

I would like to see how Vic and Bekker go in tandem this season. I still have my worries about them being too similar but we have not seen test rugby under the new interpretation so I think they could actually be awesome together. Mean fucker of a lineout.

Agree regarding the lineouts , we should dominate there with these two. Bekker obvious have grown in leaps and bounce this year, not only with his ball carrying abilities, but his defense is awesome and his other basic duties.

Bakkies will be back when the real rugby starts. We need his grunt, still my nr1 favourate Bok lock. He gives us that perfect mix in the forwards. If you take him out you need others to take over his role.

  • David Leggat wrote in the New Zealand Herald: “This game isn’t going to be at the Afrikaner citadel (Loftus), populated by all those large men, and women, wearing blue horns as if at a fancy dress party with a theme which never changes.

“The Bulls won’t get their usual rabidly passionate support (in Soweto); the visitors won’t feel the naked hostility quite so sharply. You must give the Crusaders a decent chance of upsetting the Bulls."

Isn't this man in for a nasty surprise ;) Exactly the same people that would have been at Loftus will be at Orlando as well.

Would love to see Mr Leggat's face come Saturday.

Just the fact that the man thinks there will be far less Bulls supporters there amazes me. What does he expect - the whole Orlando Pirates support group turning up instead?

Boet they dont know Soweto. IF the Stormers and Brutes goes through I have already organise myself a tour through the township. One of the biggest Lion supporters on the planet MammaJ promise to let me park my ox wagon at her home and taking me to Orlando Stadium
Her invitation on Lionsworlds forum
Paranoia will be the death of some people boet, RELAX

if your team make the finals, go online immediately and book, which I am assuming will be via computicket. Moenie slaap nie, the Bulls (if in the final) may carry their knaters at the back of their bakkies iso in their pants, but they are not that dof. They KNOW Soweto will be the safest place to be come semis and final, and will beat you to it. They moaning now for an event which I think is an awesome first, but they WILL buy all the tickets before you can say Storm saam.

Beat them to it man,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,if your team,,,,,,,,,,,and them make the finals that is

Maybe then you or me must buy our tickets together if you want then go with us. I DID OFFER when it became known. That still stands. My husband will make sure all of you get to the stadium and back safely. How bout you rock up at Orlando stadium at the back of a qwella.

Quote from whoever - Dont let the fear of the unknown prevent you from striking out.

Watch a bit on the TV about the feelings from the Sowetians living there and they sound pretty exciting receiving the Brute Boere as long as Al Cada and Osama bin Laden stay away.

Think we can expect some high up and unders from the Brutes on saturday, not the Stormers, they'll have to keep ball in hand, you dont want to give Beale and Tahs free pill, they'll have to come and get it from first phase.
