When picking our lads to play as a League team then our fatties wouldn't make it because you could have blokes like Chisolm as your front rowers. My wallabies league team would be.

1. Cameron Shepherd 2.Peter Hynes 3.AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper) 4.Ioane 5.Drew Mitchell 6.Quade Cooper 7.JOC (James O'Connor) 8.TPN 9.Berrick Barnes 10.Wycliff Palu 11.Scott Higginbotham 12.Rocky Elsom 13.David Pocock

Res 14:Giteau 15.Chisolm 16.McCalman 17.Richard Brown

What you need is big fast blokes who can run the edges & the forwards only have to run for 50 minutes & Cliffy palu at 120kg is a monster in League.

Most props & 2nd rowers in league weigh in at 110 kilo max.

If you were really looking to the NRL to find the next Brad Thorn, the man most likely is Tom Learoyd-Lahrs - 25 yrs old, 194cm and 115kgs and one of NSW best in the last Origin series. Thorn's first switch didn't come until he was 25 so not too old.

As far as someone with that size who is tracking Thorn's path of early representative honours goes, Jamal Idris is your man. Just turned 20, played for NSW in the centres but shifting the forwards as he fills out.

In the outside backs, number one contender as a union signing would be Akuila Uate of the Knights. Dynamite - could be the next Rupeni Caucau minus the walkabout. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KkV6UBDjaZA&feature=related

Aside from him, either or both of the Morris twins would go well in the Super 15 competition IMHO.
