Doesn't sound like the Porter Reserve I know!I believe you are correct footy_footy. Word on the street is that there was substantial referee abuse.

Havent heard from Lindfield since the early rounds... results must not be greatEarly chirp heavyD. Clubs champs haven’t fallen in your beloved Newports favour over the past 2 days.
Did the Crash bandicoot Parody account hurt your feelings that much?Havent heard from Lindfield since the early rounds... results must not be great
Can you check in with the 10 or so lads who created accounts early in the season to see if they just forgot their password?
UNSW off for a club breakfast in between games as a result. That’s much too refined for Subbies! Great way to break up the dayLooks like the Lions tour has got the better of Irish. Down to 2 Grades this weekend, which is a shame but not unexpected all things considered.
One player or two, given Seb Allen and Tim Anstey both rubbed out.Omg you go for a game of golf and all hell breaks loose. Just playing catch up. I’m the oracle!
Have been working the phones to get the explanation. Subbies sited a Newport player who said (foolishly) to the touch judge as he was walking from the field at halftime “geez this ref is a dick”. Touchie put it in his match report and player has 3 week ban, club gets -2 comp points & -44 CC deduction. Newports 42 point lead over Drummoyne is now a 2 point deficit.
The CC battle though I think is far from over with 4 rounds to go.
The Lions tour, Uni holidays, snow etc really biting hard when the team that’s 11 from 12 with 11 bonus points can’t get on the field. Imagine if we were playing 18 rounds still…Beecroft socials reporting Knox Colts forfeited

Conspiracy corner…. What if Knox have chosen to forfeit Colts this week cause after there forfeit in 2s a couple of weeks ago leaves them needing to win a couple of games or risk being jumped by Hornsby….
When do the penalties kick in for the clubs that forfeit on the ladders? We could see some movement on the ladders once the point deductions are included.Games listed as forfeits this weekend in the ref appointments:
Womens Premier - Div 2 Gordon Rugby vs Petersham Rugby
Womens Premier - Div 2 Hunter Wildfires vs Manly Rugby
Colts 3rds Premiership - Simpson Shield Northern Suburbs vs Randwick Rugby
Subbies 2nd Division 3rd Grade - Blunt Cup UNSW Rugby vs Sydney Irish
Subbies 3rd Division Colts - Nicholson Cup Knox Old Boys vs Beecroft Rugby
Subbies 3rd Division Colts - Nicholson Cup Old Barker vs Colleagues II
Subbies 5th Division 2nd Grade - Grose Cup Canterbury Rugby vs Colleagues Convicts

I believe they're manually applied by Subbies based on past experience. Tend to wait until there are a bunch to do as I'm led to believe it is a pain in the arse.
So clubs that are faced with massive player unavailibility through injury or otherwise are to ignore player welfare concerns and force players to play 2-3 games on a Saturday? Sounds like we are a serious injury away from a legal nightmare.
I don’t think anyone is saying forfeits shouldn’t be allowed in that situation. That’s exactly what they are there for. But there still needs to be a punishment/deterrent.So clubs that are faced with massive player unavailibility through injury or otherwise are to ignore player welfare concerns and force players to play 2-3 games on a Saturday? Sounds like we are a serious injury away from a legal nightmare.
Im no barrister but the question becomes are we comfortable we have alignment between clubs, who as you say has its first priority as player welfare, squaring off against an administrative body, a body that imposes penalties on those same clubs should they act to protect those players by forfeiting.Maybe a bit of an overreaction to what was answering a question.
A few points deducted from totals should not bother a club whose first priority is its players.
