Bullshit. The Tahs crowd makes very little difference to the contest, no matter what stadium. To say the result would have been different at the SFS is baseless rubbish.
Why do Australia have such a bad record at Perth when playing against South Africa then? The crowd can lift any team a great deal.

Possibly because at Perth half the crowd is usually South African and until recently they were playing on an oval and so the spectators are sitting quite a way from the action.

I have never been to Australia but I try to learn some of it on here so bare with me if I ask you a couple of questions.
Although Perth have a big SA population and sheep (I think) it is still in Australia and Australians are still the majority there. Or is there a small rugby supporting community which is outnumbered? Also sometimes it looks like Australia have lost the game there before it even started due to the past games. Looks like a mental state. I remember one game where Matt Burke missed a sitter right infront of the posts which should have ended Nick Mallets winning streak right there.

Small rugby community is my guess. AFL is #1 there. It is quite possible Mens Hockey outnumbers rugby in Perth as I do know they are quite passionate about their hockey too.

Can't really comment on the mental state.

I see in an article in the Daily Telegraph today that part of the redevelopment of the SFS, sorry, Allianz Stadium, will be to add a food court and associated facilities. Sounds promising, although one would assume it would just be the most over-priced place for food this side of Sydney Airport...

You can now buy overpriced Oporto at the SFS!

My biggest gripe this season is that the Fox and Lion is in the process of becoming a PJ Gallaghers. The food menu has become worse and I'm not a fan of the whole chain Irish Pub thing.
