I don't reckon they will be available. They have a game against the Barbarians on Tuesday night.
The last thing that Coach Thompson wants is a bloke injured in a Colts or club grade game.
This squad needs to spend as much time together as possible to perfect their combinations and intuitive play.
I reckon the U20 Rock Stars will probably be seen back in clubland in mid to late July, and most of them would be fancying their chances at game time in Grade rather than Colts.

Southern Districts Reports - Round 9
What a tough week and then on the Saturday we played Randwick at Coogee and Latham Park. We are still in an injury and sickness crisis with over 40 players unavailable, but we still put 4 good teams on the field and its a credit to the players who played on the weekend on how they performed.
Its difficult when 3 of the 1st colts side are ruled out on Friday because of sickness this has a massive effect right through the grades.
I didn't see 3rd colts but they lost 43 to 7 but I heard the guys really put in and 3rds had a horrendous preparation during the week with constantly losing players up the grades.
18s had a great victory 43 to 21 - its strange how Randwick don't acknowledge their 18s as part of their Colts program by excluding them in the clubs results. Well done to the 18s on there continued unbeaten run.
2nds lost 51 to 7 and it was clear to everyone the score line did not reflect the game and the effort and commitment by every player was commendable. Well done on Cooper Harris for his call up from 18s and Ben Ridgeway on his first comp game of the season after a hand injury and straight into 2nds - and not in his preferred position. Special mention must go too Sammy Iuta on his debut in 2nds [and at prop] and Cooper. Ben and Sammy are players of the future.
Strange sort of game with the Randwick props creating all the damage playing out in the backs and they are damaging runners and caused problems all day with their size and pace. The Souths scrum was very strong and had the Randwick scrum on the back foot all game, but we did not use this advantage very well and should have done better. With 51 points scored against us you would think our defence was poor but the boys tackled really well and some excellent scrambling defence saved some bad situations, but the back end of the game the defence got raggedy on the kick returns and Randwick were able to get some counter attack tries.
1st colts lost 31 to 18 but the score blew out right at the end and maybe a draw would have been a fair result? With Souths leading 18 to 14 with about 10 minutes to go and a good breeze at their back it was time for smart rugby, but Souths did not capitalise on the wind and kept trying to run out of their danger zone and randwick with good defence sweated on our mistakes and were able to get some late tries. Souths once behind had to play catch-up rugby, but usually this sort of rugby ends in tears, and did again on Saturday.
Well done to the players its been an extremely tough month having to play the top 4 clubs in a row with almost half the Colts players unavailable. Regardless, each week we have fielded 4 sides, with all the guys doing their jumper proud.
We have 2 more games till the end of the first round then 6 more games in the 2nd round, and with players returning the competition for spots well be intense and training attendance, effort and game day performance will dictate who plays in what position in what grade.
Player of the day goes to Rahboni who played a full game in 1st Colts then he and George Prassad played the last 20 minutes in 2nd grade, and Rahboni then played the last 15 minutes in 1st grade.
Well Done Rahboni and no you cannot have monday off work!

I am backing home team advantage in the closer contests, so,
Easts over Parramatta in a close game. I think they are pretty even. Whoever controls possession gets the chocolates. 2's and 3's also to Easts but 3's will be close.
Manly over West Harbour. Manly have been patchy so I am not putting the house on this. 2's and 3's to West Harbour who did not do a lot wrong last week v Uni. Fitness is their issue.
Gordon over Penrith in 2's and 3's
Randwick over Northern. This is the clash of the Titans. There will be thunder and lightning over Coogee!! 2's and 3's to Randwick BUT all three could go the other way if Norths bring their mojo.
Southern over Eastwood. This will be the most decisive game in the round. Both are sitting on the edge of leaders board.
I watched Eastwood play Uni and was not convinced that all the Eastwood forwards were in for a battle. They do have a good scrum and Ed Craig but I am counting on a Southern "backs to the wall" fight. Nevertheless, they play each other again in round 12 and Eastwood have slightly easier run to the finish. Watch this space.
Uni over Warringah in all three grades. Uni are good at running over teams, BUT 2's made a lot of handling errors last week and 3's started really badly. Randwick in 3 weeks Uni!
PS I assume the Rats have a plan to get back on track next year. Gordon did it brilliantly, but probably have a better drawing power for player numbers than the Rats. Keep at it fellas and give those bloody Corporation show ponies a belting on Saturday! Just kidding. Up the Students!

I went to the Souths training session last night and there was a high level of enthusiasm and some pretty intense training between the 1st and 2nd colts team and they spent a lot of time on scrums so maybe they are expecting a toigh time at scrums against Eastwood.
I spoke to Keith the head of Colts and he said the guys were training really well and are excited to be playing at Forshaw
Its only there 3rd game at home and 2nd game in 9 weeks so its been a long road trip. They have had a large number of players back from being unavailable with more due back next week.
Hopefully saturday will be nice and sunny and there should be some good rugby on display.

Ahh …the smell of Woollahra Oval did the trick for all 3 Colts teams last Saturday.
In only our second home game of the season, victory came to all teams over Warringah.
Thirds got the day underway with a lack luster first half with many handling errors by both teams and the only score came to Easts winger Kai Whatmore scoring a try close to half time which was converted .
The second half was played with a lot more gusto with 3 more tries coming for well-deserved bonus point, 26 to nil victory to Easts.
Seconds colts started well enough before falling behind 12 to 7 at half time. They then really lifted the tempo after the break to race in 5 excellent tries to open up a 36 to 12 lead and a huge win looked possible. However Warringah had other ideas pouncing on some lethargy by Easts and running in 2 late tries for a final score line of 36 to 24.
It was important for Firsts to carry on the good work from the previous week but they took a little time to settle down and it wasn’t until the 11th minute that right winger Christo Wylie was freed up down the touchline to open Easts account. 5 minutes latter breakaway Tom Mencinsky chased hard on a kick through to score a fine try. Closing in on halftime outside centre James Pelowski in only his second comeback match from injury showed his great pace to slice through the defence for his first of 3 tries. Five–Eight Suaesi Tosua was in fine goal kicking form converting all 3 tries to give Easts 21 points but a barging try right on half time added to an earlier penalty goal by Warringah gave them 10 points at the break.
Easts were always in control in the second spell with man of the match James Pelowski showing outstanding speed and footwork to score another 2 tries with Christo Wylie also grabbing his second all of which were converted by Suasei. Warringah managed 2 late tries for a final victory to Easts by 42 to 22.
It was a good confidence builder but still a lot of penalties being given away which against stronger sides will be heavily punished.
However 3 wins on the day …all bonus point victories represented a good day at the office.
Another home game at Woollahra this week against Parramatta who cannot be taken lightly as they have had some good performances throughout the season so far.

With this rain, the Woollahra Oval surface will favour the fat boys in single digits (AKA Rugby Players) so I'm going for the M2B by < 10 in a bit of an upset.
Manly v West Harbour. A shade of their 2013 form, the MMM have been rather inconsistent this year, but they should have the players and fitness to outlast the Concord Oval big boppers. It will be close at oranges but the MMM will run in 3 meat pies in the second stanza to win by 20+.
Gordon v The Bye. After a fairly stiff encounter last week, the Highlanders will rest most of their top players and will still get a 4T BP victory.
Randwick v Northern Suburbs. Possible 2015 Grand Final match. Shoremen are undefeated and would fancy their chances to remain so especially after their recent grand performances against The Corporation and The Highlanders. Randi-Wix have only lost one game so far, and that was by a very close margin. Without their U20 RockStars and a fairly long list of top notch players in Team Rehab, Randi-Wix are vulnerable especially in the matchwinning department (AKA The Piggies). It will be a titanic battle but I'm going for the Shoremen to prevail by < 5 points.

Likewise the closeness of the Hobbits game against the defending premiers probably surprised all but the Local tragics. The Hobbits at home are always ornery critters and while Ed Craig is an absolute superstar, he will not be able to do all the work for the Woodies piggies, so the Hobbits should win by 10-15.
Warringah v Sydney University. The Corporation in cruise control will win by 65 points or more. The Christian's alone will score > 30 points: Yassmin with 4 meat pies, and Kagiassis bagging at least 1 meat pie and kicking 7 conversions. Jack McCalman will get a brace of his own pies as will James Kane. It won't be pretty on Rat Park #2 and, if you are out that way, there will be a better game of footy at 3 pm on the #1 oval with the ISA heavyweight title match between Oakhill and Augies.

The Christian's alone will score > 30 points: Yassmin with 4 meat pies, and Kagiassis bagging at least 1 meat pie and kicking 7 conversions. Jack McCalman will get a brace of his own pies as will James Kane. It won't be pretty on Rat Park #2 and, if you are out that way, there will be a better game of footy at 3 pm on the #1 oval with the ISA heavyweight title match between Oakhill and Augies.
