Can you break it down between halves and 5/8s?
whoever heard of a 10 doing anything that could earn a yellow card?

Au contraire.
12 YC and a RC (for 2nd YC) have been issued to #10's.
3 YC have been issued to #9's.

Note: There is no breakdown of where the bench players are deployed, so the REAL figures may differ slightly.

The Worst YC Offenders
Number eight, 14
Fly half, Left flanker, 12
Right flanker, Right lock, 10
Full back, 9
Left lock, Loose head prop, 8
Right centre, 6
Left wing, Tight head prop, Reserve 3, 5
Left centre, Reserve 2, 4
Right wing, Scrum half, Reserve 4, 3
Reserve 1, Reserve 6, Reserve 8, 2
Hooker, Reserve 5, 1

(A surprise or two there).

predictions for this weeks games:
Uni v randwick - uni in a close one
wests v parra - wests in a close one
souths v easts - sths in a close one
woods v manly - manly far too good
penrith v warringah - rats far too good
gordon v nths - norths far too good.

Similar results in 2's and 3's, although uni far too good for wicks in 2's\3's, and parra may get the chocolates in 2's\3's.

Remember that Clubs will be missing their Aust U20 players.

While most of them are playing Grade, their absence is usually covered by promoting players from Colts 1 into the Grade teams. This flows through Colts 2's and 3's.

In addition, I understand that Cam Skelton (Uni) will be be at Jnr RWC for the Samoan Team.

Have there been any other Sydney based lads selected for the Jnr RWC for teams other than Australia? There is usually one or two that feature in the Tongan or Samoan team.

And how good is was for Gordon to get the first win for the Colts and to do it in style! 17-0! after a thrashing the week before, it was great for us to have worked hard during the week and come up with the goods!

Win or lose, you play the game for the game.

Yep . . . 18-0 was the actual scoreline . . . and the boys were bouncing around like Tigga. Great to see them finally gel as a team - can't wait for the rest of the season, and next year.

And, after following rugby for over 40 years, saw something I've never seen before in a game. One of the Warringah players went down, so the Gordon 'waterboy' went on and was penalised for coming on during play. Apparently the ref hadn't blown time off.

I could hear the ref saying "get off" a couple of times, but the 'waterboy' was busy and didn't hear him.

You gotta luv Rugby.

This weekend - Penrith & Warringah Grade & Colts will play a full Club round at Rat Park on Saturday. The return fixture in a couple of weeks will be a full club round at Nepean Rugby Park.

Colts 2 will kick off at colts 3 time & Colts 1 at Colts 2 time on Narrabeen Rugby Park No.2 to then allow all Colts players to clap on First Grade at 3.15 before adjourning to the NRP Hill for refreshments & socialising.

Should be great club building days for both clubs.

Also plans are afoot to (hopefully) have a full Penrith vs Warringah “Inter District Challenge Day in 2015” To have U10 to First Grade playing all on the same day at the same venue (hopefully) 2 weeks before the NSWJRU State Championships in 2015 would be awesome!!

Norths v Gordon
Norths again dominated the second colts running out 46-12 winners. I dont think the scoreline indicates the competitiveness of the gordon side (other than the yellow card for taking the feet of a player in the air). This is a good side possibly lacking confidence. But norths were too strong in the forwards.
The fists was a tight tussle for the first half, but then the flood gates opended for the visitors. The half time talk must have fired them up. Gordon had some quality players, but i felt lacked in the second row department.
A good days rugby all round i felt.

2nd Grade Colts - Gordon vs. Northern Suburbs
"Nigel Nobodies vs. Nigel shouldbes"

Fellas, to have lost 46-12 to an undefeated, full-strength Northern Suburbs was a great learning experience for both sides. It shows the shear depth of one club to another, having only 3 boys in the gordon team playing in a 1st XV team to a Northern Suburbs outfit with multiple boys playing representative footy.

Pat Curtain, Oscar Pople, the Clancy twins and Willie Ahosivi just to name the GPS boys playing in that team. Shouldn't these boys be playing in the 1s?

Was a good game anyhow!

I like to watch

David Codey (61)
That's a good effort.
As was your 1's team.
They are punching above their weight as well.
How are you guys with depth/ injury cover?
It's about that time of the year, when clubs start battling with numbers.

Curtin just back from 9 weeks out through injury, nick Clancy did not play, jack Clancy was in ones and changed to twos, pople not playing well enough, Alhosivi needs better fitness.

Souths bounced back from there loss to Parramatta last week with a big win over 3rd placed Easts.
Leading 35 to Nil at halftime Easts played the 2nd half for respect and well done to them for getting 3 tries
Brandom Amosa switch from 7 to 2 has been a great success with the souths scrum taking the Easts scrum apart.
With a lot of ball the souths backs really showed there class and good to see powerhouse winger Matt Tekki making a successful comeback after being out for 8 or so weeks. Souths still have Rory Davis, rahboni voyasco, albert hemopo, jack conen, coming back in the next 3 or 4 weeks with make all grades stronger.
Massive game this week against Uni.

There you go again @The Baz. Stop putting facts in the face of a good story. :)
Sorry HJ.I could b.s a ripper story behind players if necessary. I thought also the Gordon twos second rowers outshine the ones. They would not look out of place in that squad.
