that was soft defence by Murray for that Ulster try, 1:1 and he was beaten pretty easily.

Great defence from the Reds to secure the win. Held them out for scrum, line out drive and quick tap into pick and goes past the 80 minutes.

Much sterner challenge from Ulster, Reds can take a lot away from that one. Forwards performed really well as a unit and it let the backs shine. Still some defensive issue to sort out and some polish in the attack required, but the set piece is humming and our maul looks rock solid on both sides of the ball. Hopefully the injuries to Daugunu and LSL (Lukhan Salakaia-Loto) aren't too bad, but we do have some depth to cover them.

I had a couple of connectivity issues but otherwise it was a great stream. Good quality feed and informed and engaged commentary. It'll be interesting to see crowd numbers, but Ulster have to be pretty happy with the show that was put on. Good advertisement for more of these games in the future.

Yeah biggest concern was LSL (Lukhan Salakaia-Loto)’s knee

Daugunu will have concussion protocols but fine for Rd1

Interested how Smith & Blyth both went. Encouraging that set peice and the maul were both good.

Salakai-Loto’s injury may make the decision for the selectors, but otherwise interesting who gets the nod for the first game v Moana.

Was at the game. The best thing to come out of it was the Reds successfully defending a lead in an away game while under substantial pressure.
