marketing department. not having a crack there TOCC, would have though tit would be standard practice everywhere. if 10000 seats are already accounted for from stadium membership, then surely it counts on some level.
Ok so my grounds for dispute on the subject is that Suncorp has consistently maintained a high membership number, now i doubt this fluctuates too much.
So the Reds have 6'000 members in 2010, in 2011 that figure increased to 15'000, and in 2012 that number is looking towards 30'000.
So at what point did these stadium figured get included?
It obviously wasnt 2010 becase the stadium figure already eclipsed the Reds number, if it were in 2011 then that would suggest the Reds membership base actually shrank(15'000 - 10'000 = 5'000) which is highly unlikely given the added impetus which was placed on marketing and packages during that period.
So was it 2012, which would mean that the flowover effects from the GF and RWC has only equated to a extra 4'000 memberships(29'000 - 10'000 = 19'000)..
Not having a crack, but its genuinely a rather significant issue, membership figures, tv ratings and average audiences obviously figure highly when it comes to sponsorship negotiations.
