Yeah I suspect they dont do a draft as we dont have enough teams. But still its more fun to draft. and say have 8 player comps.

I agree with you but as cheif organiser for the past few years it was hard to find a full contingent willing to part with $8. And then half of those that did would pick a team in the initial draft and then not participate for the rest of the season, and then win a round even though half their team had a bye because someone on the (hugely invested participant's) other team gets red carded. It's certainly a superior concept though if all the participants actually have a crack at it.

We can still do FRD if there is enough interest over the last 11 rounds i.e. from next week. The cost to play is 12.95 NZ pesos, the consensus is it's the best $11 you can spend. So I need at least 8 players who will commit to actually playing each week i.e. not just sitting on their auto pick team for the whole season. If we happen to get that before lunchtime tomorrow (Fri) we can probably run a draft in the afternoon to get things going, but probably best to do it next week so all players have an opportunity to set their teams
