When it all comes down to it, would we want it any other way?
Agreed. There is always going to be a bit of parochial bias in a process like this, and that’s fine. I think if you removed all the votes where the player is voted in by someone who supports their team you would still end up with largely the same team as it’s the players who get noticed enough to accumulate votes from outside their supporter base who will get the nod.

Plus I always take comfort in the fact that whenever someone posts something not aligned to my own think it is just because they clearly can’t be objective. Like I am. Always.

No I think it’s clear. There is a few people that wear their colours a little too close to their skin.
And a few that will pick on reputation, irrespective of team bias, rather than performace that week. That's why the more votes the better

A couple of out there selections. the introduction of Scott Sio to the pack saw the Brumbies scrum go from lordinary to dominant. Also, he had a couple of big runs with the ball, one instrumental in the Brumbies scoring a try.

Ready was probably the busiest hooker going round on the weekend. He adds a bit of starch and aggression to the Force pack.

Lee-Warner had an immense game at No 6, scoring a try, making good metres in contact and winning lineout ball. A top all round game from him.

Brumbies backline as a whole was the best on show. Five tries in the match, one each to the Nos 11, 13, 14, and 15. Can't ask for better than that in the way of backline attack.

I don't understand why Koroibete isn't listing as starting, was was the best wing out there on the weekend, neither of the two listed, could have scored the the try Koroibete did, or are they the constant threat that he is

I thought he had a mixed game.......... fairly poor in the first half, but did just enough (such as the try) to make my bench.........
