Super Rugby AU 2021 Team of the Week

I would also be interested in seeing the team with the highest number of picks per games played vs the most number of picks overall.

Would definitely change a few positions.

Neville, Valetini, and McReight were certainly the 3 constants...

Off the top of my head Ikitau was the first player to reach 4 or 5 selections, but Perese certainly dominated the later weeks.

Muirhead is certainly the most contentious pick, but probably benefited from the Reds rotating their wingers, and Wright missing most of the season through injury, and like Perese pulled a lot of votes and regular selection over the last few weeks.

In fairness it was muirheads form this season that got him selected for wallaby’s squad - suspect he was polling earlier then in latter part of season. Maddocks too can be very good but lucky can’t earn negative points as can equally play shockers but fair to say he is improved on last season

TBH I can't remember a shocker from Muirhead. I can remember seeing him miss maybe 4-5 tackles in a few seasons and has beaten more defenders than I can count.

He's slipperier than a greased up Scotsman in an air conditioning duct.

Can we just roll on?
I wanted to have more Force players in it but when 8 of their starting XV are foreign players it makes it difficult. Surprising amounts of Waratahs in there too.

1. Scott Sio (Brumbies)
2. Feleti Kaitu'u (Force)
3. Harry Johnson-Holmes (Waratahs)
4. Darcy Swain (Brumbies)
5. Hugh Sinclair (Waratahs)
6. Lachie Swinton (Waratahs)
7. Liam Wright (Reds)
8. Rob Valetini (Brumbies)
9. Jake Gordon (Waratahs)
10. Noah Lolesio (Brumbies)
11. Solomone Kata (Brumbies) (is he eligible?)
12. Irae Simone (Brumbies)
13. Kyle Godwin (Force)
14. Tom Wright (Brumbies)
15. Tom Banks (Brumbies)

We definitely should roll on as it’s these games that likely will be weighted more towards the Wallabies selections. But it depends if Slim is up for it I guess.
