Can't help but feel sorry for the Argies. They are better than this.
Hope the match is a lot more competitive in Argentina.

The new scrum laws have certainly provided a much calmer forum -no ref vilification in either match (so far)

Watched the game last night. That second half, that was old fashioned one sided. The Boks smelt blood and were ferocious while Argentina were completely rudderless. They REALLY missed Lobbe last night, I don't think he would have let that happen. Missed tackles, ZERO impetus at the rucks, completely dominated at maul time, looked leaderless.

It seems a shame that these new scrums (farcical last night, might get better) are potentially taking away the best facets of both Argentina's and Italy's game.

As for South Africa, bloody good in the second half. They were like a fat kid on cake, all over it. While the Argies effectively turned into turnstiles, the Boks were pretty exciting. JJ Engelbrecht, Jan Serfontein, Willie Le Roux, (Lambie). The future looked pretty good last night. So did the past Fourie du Preez (had it easy) still looks the goods. Bugger. Strauss at hooker was quality and the rest of the forwards were intense.

Time will tell but SA has the potential of a very good side there. Easy to say after such a game but it's true. We'll find out later in the tourney I guess.

Expected it to be a lot closer than this. At least with a 20pt margin. Pumas are better than that.

Complete surprise to see how easily the Boks pack man handled to Argies.

Loving this Bok back row. Three absolute mongrels.

Fourie DuP. There still is not halfback in world rugby that clears the ruck as quick as this guy. Sublime. Pienaar had a great game. This could be excellent for us. Pienaar starts and Fourie comes on if we want to speed up the game.

Argies sucked. A lot of work to do. Hope they can lift their game. Would hate to see them become whipping boys.

Great win for the Bokke. Good to see the backline finally do some damage. I still dont agree on FdP pick but hell it was good to see a scrummy that deliver quick service, the reason why they get on the front foot. Vermeulen was surprisingly fit for a first game and had a good one. FdP wont tour , so we'll probably miss him , Lourens Adriaanse back where he belong in the first place.
