Dont start this unfounded slander again Paul. Not what this place is about.Blacks are a proud club. Don’t know why anyone would need defending. Strange comment. 3 games played. 248 to nil. Fact. Can you give any examples of incentives local rugby communities in Wagga are offering that encourage local players.
Week 2 at Tumut I believe1 Round to go before the Finals and Reddies have at least given themselves a chance (it's a pretty slim one) of qualifying for a Minor Semi against Ag College (on Aug 3) who they co-incidentally host this Saturday.
Reddies are currently 5th on 33 pts and trail Tumut by 4 pts on the Ladder.
If Tumut get no competition points against the undefeated City next Saturday (which is highly likely) then Reddies will need to beat Ag College and also score 4 tries or more to edge ahead of the Tumut Bulls.
A win by Reddies without a Bonus Point (not scoring 4 tries ) will not be enough to dislodge Tumut from 4th place as Tumut's for and against is far superior than Reddies.
Week 1 Finals are at Conolly Rugby park and the Grand Finals will also be at Conolly - not sure where the Week 2 Finals are being played.
Good Luck to all teams this Saturday for the final round of matches
i didnt read it that way. seemed more to me that there wont be any sanctions to the club. The judiciary will happen as usualAm I reading correctly that the SIRU president is pre-empting the judiciary in suggesting 2 red card recipients will go unpunished. That the SIRU board may override the existing system to allow a club to participate in the finals even if the other 3 clubs vote against it. This is involving a club that has had 3 games called off early throughout the season.
Great club. Big numbers of young people who train and play hard, on and off the field. Rare to find anyone over the age of 25 or so at the club. It is highly unlikely there would be remuneration. Would be somewhat rare for most clubs in the region.G'day Gentlemen,
Long-time reader and first-time commenter on this particular forum. I've just noticed the head coaching role at Wagga Agricultural College is currently advertised. I would love some honest information about the culture of the club and the Southern Inland Competition as a junior coach looking to work into some amateur coaching. I'm currently located in Canberra; however, I am unsure yet if I can make the commitment to put an application in for the job.
It seems the job would be done without any remuneration, which is less interesting to me, especially regarding travel. On the surface, however, it seems like a great club or coaching opportunity at a club that would give a lot back to regional rugby, which is really awesome.
Thanks in advance, any information is appreciated.
I've attached the advertisment below.
