I think he could give deportment lessons to Andre Watson - Gatland actually had skin in the game and yet had the grace to measure his comments. Gatland 10/10. Watson: 0/10

Missing the point of outrage over Gatland's comments. Shaun edwards was about to give a spray. Wrong side won, RWC worse for it, French were rubbish, ref determined outcome, might have been better not to have made decision instantly, hope frogs turn up to play rugby next weekend. Problems? which of the above comments is equivalent to Samoan comparing IRB to fascists or death threats to ref?

I'm talking about Gatland's post match interview where he was critical of the referees decision. Possibly more so than Watson. I trust you will have already drawn up your placard and will be protesting at the airport.

Should you not be comparing Gatland's response in the post match interview to that of Peter De Villiers? Surely that would be comparing apples with apples. Comparing a coaches comments in a post match interview at the rugby world cup, with a manager of referee's comments in an interview in his home country a few days after the world cup is not quite the same thing is it?

If Rolland gets the final, I will - and I'm pretty serious here folks - give up rugby until POB is deposed. Or toppled, perhaps, like Saddam.

NO - but if anyone cold be excuse for lack of self control or judgment it would surely be the coach

From Growden this AM:
To the credit of the Wallabies supporters who were at Eden Park on Sunday night, they generally took with good grace the All Blacks triumph. However the antics of some Springboks supporters at the ground was well below what is acceptable. One of our good snouts was sitting near New Zealand referee Bryce Lawrence, and everything was fine until the whistle-blower was noticed by a South African moron, who began berating him about his performance in the quarter-final against the Wallabies. If you think Quade Cooper is New Zealand public enemy No. 1, then Lawrence is South African public enemy No. 1. Our snout said that someone from Lawrence's party had to intervene and move the agitator away from the referee. And no, the South African goon was not Andre Watson.

Although the refereed on Sunday night was not a factor in our loss I am confident none of us would do this.

You have to be joking don't you? You must not have been to any rugby venue's in Australia in the last 20 years. No country's stadiums are immune to drunken loud mouth idiots who feel it is their job to entertain the crowd with their running banter.

Hasn't happened where I could hear it.
And I've never seen anyone abuse a ref who wasn't the ref on the night.
I do sit in the wallaby 1st area but by virtue of the marketing geniuses at the ARU there's usually more kiwis in that area than Aussies
