I feel sorry for Wales but, Liam Williams is the dirtiest player I have ever seen play the game of rugby and I am pleased that the rugby gods have delivered their nemesis after all his cheap shots over the years. The laws were applied 100% correctly, in all cases, and though Wales were the better side undoubtedly, we did what we had to to be ahead on the scoreboard in the end, just.

And if Wales always play the way they did on the weekend, they will be within a score of any team in the world every weekend.

We will also learn a lot more from a tight game like that, than from a 38-16 win the previous week.

This week against Scotland will show whether we learnt our lesson regarding a little bit of complacency creeping in. True, we will have a weaker team, but it'll be all about the attitude, and the focus.
