DeJarger had a great debut I thought. He might have a baby face but boy he is strong in contact. Great to see Matfield egg him on all the way.
Yeah you certainly wouldn't think he'd play as he had by just looking at him but it certainly helps when the Welsh have been battered all the time prior to your involvement.

Guthro stepped up, Serfontein looked good and so did everyone really and it's all down to a mammoth effort by the pack in all aspects during the first half.

I read he made more tackles than any other player on the day. Not bad considering he only came onto the field after half time.

Between him and Etzabeth, the Bok have got a rock solid lock combination for the next decade. The future is bright for this bloke so fuck Bakkies off and start him next to Matfield this week. Use Matfield's wisdom and experience while he is still there.

There's still PSdT and his sharks teammate Lewies, also young blokes. The difference between these and Botha/Matfield is that the latter played for their province as well as national team. Unless Lewies somehow unseats both Etzebeth and DeJager our locks will be good but probably not as great. I think PSdT will be the no 5 for the next decade as things currently stand.

Willie le Roux's test this one. He inject so much flair in the Bok backline, wey will be nowhere without him. Flo also played well. Now I see Meyer called in Meisiekind, liewe ouers, where are we heading?
