Lots of unknown names in the Italy team. They have yet another 10. Castro on bench, must signal the winding down of his international career.

Pienaar at Ulster and Louw at Bath.

I saw a few games featuring Pienaar and his form from last year has continued. He seems to relish his role at Ulster. Never quite seems as in cpontrol for the Boks he deos for Ulster but in my opinion he is still by far the best we have at 9. For now.

No idea what form Louw is in.

This will be the typical Italian match, forwards keep them in it up untill about 60minutes before the scoreline blows out.

Parisse, Zanni and Bortolami will be strong up front, and the more ball Venditti and Masi get the better Italy will perform.

For the Boks, very happy to see le Roux start, he is electric. Arno Botha is a good inclusion, whilst Strauss and Etzebeth are in great form.

Most of the team were good, Habana, Strauss and Francois Louw the stand outs.

Of the new caps JJ Engelbrecht ws dangerous, but shelled two tries. Le Roux mixed the good (couple of nice breaks and passes) and the poor (poor options, poor pass when hot on attack). Arno Botha was busy and effective. Vermaak was meh.

Spies was amazingly shit, did absolutely nothing to justify his paycheck. Jaundre Kruger similar.

It was good to see the Boks scoring points (an Achilles heal of theirs in 2012) but should be worried about fading in and out of the game.

I am not a Spoes fan but the guy tackled his nuts off. He made 15 tackles and did not miss a single one. And he made more yards than any other forward.

Its hard when the forward loosies tackle their bean off winning turn over ball only for the backs to go knock it due to trying to play at a high pace inside their own half.

Where did you get those stats, because I randomly decided to keep an eye on Spies in the second half. All I can recall is three highly ineffective tackles and steal on the ground. Can't think of a single carry.
