I've wondered if that's why Farrell tilts his head to one side when he lines up a kick -- it looks like he's putting his head at the same angle as the ball.If you watch most kickers you will see them look at the ball then toward the posts then back toward the ball.

It's an alternate English viewpoint that I was asked to post. As opposed to Lord Bald's "the Lions were far superior" stance, Phil suggests they got lucky.I'm unclear as to how this relates to the subject of this thread, it's just general game commentary is it not?
Tighthead first then reserve TightheadAustralia has a culture problem on goal kicking, right down to grassroots level. The goal kicker is always the first picked in a team.
Robinson's article is largely ARU spin. She cherry picks the kicks that won matches but doesn't mention the numerous average displays over recent years. It'd be interesting to know what the actual percentages are for Wallabies kickers compared to those of other top tier nations.
Bloody good point!Maybe KB (Kurtley Beale) and JOC (James O'Connor) could have gone to bed at midnight on Tuesday and had a practice kicking session the following morning prior to the squad session? Surely a more productive use of their time?
