Hmm. I've always quite liked Uni and think they jealously towards them is a little infected. However, from a factual perspective your analysis is just plain wrong. The main periods of Uni's success, say1963-1973, and 2005-2017 coincided with periods of real wallaby weakness, with some very poor results in this period.
During the second period, Uni created a cavalcade of good mid level super players (eg Tom Carter, Daniel Halagauhu, Jeremy Tilse) but very few if any superstars. They only needed to create the former to win the comp, but perhaps with the resources at their disposal their charter should have been wider than this??
