I doubt it.I'd say that since the sale of Vimera, Eastwood would have to be the wealthiest club in the competition.

Do they own any of it?I'd say that since the sale of Vimera, Eastwood would have to be the wealthiest club in the competition.
The article by Matt Bourke in the SMH when the sale was reported 6 years ago, would indicate that they do.Do they own any of it?
Eastwood don't seem to want to provide a whole lot of detail on this, but I think they sold the land to North Ryde RSL previously, but with the condition that they wouldn't get the money until re-development started. Ryde Council has blocked that development, and the Council wants to acquire the land as open space. Of course, Ryde Council is spectacularly incompetent with money, so who knows if they'll ever follow through on that - or if that money will go to EDRUFC. Anyway, I'm pretty sure the proceeds of the sale, if it ever eventuates, can only be used on land, it can't be used for buying players. The article by Matt Bourke in the SMH when the sale was reported 6 years ago, would indicate that they do.
It is a news corp article by Jamie P. Also here if anyone has an account.Anyone got an account?

Eastwood have never owned Millner, it was owned by a body called Vimiera Recreation Ground which is separate to EDRUFC. What VRG does with the proceeds you'd have to ask them.I'd say that since the sale of Vimera, Eastwood would have to be the wealthiest club in the competition.
What is the composition of VRG ? Do they have a relationship with EDRUFC, or is it largely "semantics"?Eastwood have never owned Millner, it was owned by a body called Vimiera Recreation Ground which is separate to EDRUFC. What VRG does with the proceeds you'd have to ask them.

Is there a Super A side that could win the Shute Shield???
Super A sides are majority professional players so they should win easily. They have been training for months together already. If they can't beat a Shute Shield team then that Super A side has chosen the wrong players and has no depth. The again maybe the Shute Shield comp is just really strong. Is there a Super A side that could win the Shute Shield???
