The original narrative when the Portugal game was first being discussed was that 15 of these players selected for Aus A will be staying in Europe to play a further 3 fixtures with the barbarians as well to keep up with that World Cup readiness: you'd have to think that all but 3 to 5 blokes pulled from club rugby are going to be in Europe for at about a month, not just a one-off galavant.

Feel like that’s a good move for him and especially Easts. If he gets some success there he’ll definitely be picked up by a professional side.

Easts need to look at the goal. Do they keep signing young guys who aren’t ready to win as a team v men but by the time they are matured they will all be gone to Super Rugby or overseas.
