If randwick win does that put hoiles into pro assistant coach conversations?
Sat close to Hoilsey when they played the Rats early in the season. Oh Lordy that was one fired up coach when decisions didnt go the Wicks way. Great to see some (one eyed passion)!

Rugby forums can be harsh, but they can also be very complimentary to performers. When someone gets paid to coach Rugby they become open to criticism. Who reads it is the individual’s problem.

Having been featured in the media for reasons unrelated to rugby, the best advice I ever got: "don't read the comments".

haha, I got interviewed by the ABC once. I thought nobody watched it but one of my mates saw it and plastered it all over social media, damn him.

The best coaches keep a calm exterior. Did Rod McQueen ever blow up?

I don’t kow about that. Bellamy is pretty quick on the draw when a calls against him.

Hoiles is a young coach who will learn. Time as an assistant would be good for tempering yourself because the assistant can’t be the one going ballistic.

Rumours circulating that Uni have once again broken the Colts points cap. Will not be disqualified from the competition but will be impacted in season 2024 with reduced points quota. May hinder a number of recruits they were targeting. Once again the warehousing of talent does nothing for player development.

More good players go into that program than come out has been the cry for years

I think he’ll offer more than Tuipolotu by the end of next season. He’s a big unit who has the kick and pass skill.

Also played with Bowen since they were 12/13 years old. At times you could tell in the U20s

I think Perese has an expiry date on his style and body. Could go overseas soon to make more cash. I’d keep Foketi ahead of Perese and then sign the kids with Walton showing good progress.

I think it does.
He was the coach of LA Giltinis prior to this which would've been an invaluable experience having to deal with what happened there.
And prior he was assistant with the Mens 7s program. I was talking about with Australian Super Rugby sides
