Last week was 6/6 with some margins quite close as well. It is all downhill from here now.

Round 7 Tips
The visitors look to have the best chances in most games. With inclement weather forecast, scores will be low, mistakes will be many, and tempers will be high. Plenty of colour will be flashed from the Referees pocket this round.

Eastern Suburbs v Eastwood. Beasties love playing in the wet, and this may be their only saving grace. They will surprise in the mud and only go down by 15 points to a rampant Woodies.

Gordon v Southern Districts. Hobbits are too classy across the park, and they have the piggies that will enjoy slopping around in the Chatwwood Oval mud. Hobbits by 10-15.

Northern Suburbs v Manly. My match of the round. Shoremen will not be happy with the outcome last week where they fancied their chances over the Corporation. MMM will be keen to show that they are legitimate GF contenders for 2015. The forecast weather may slow them down but ultimately they should win by 10-15.

Parramatta v Warringah. Both combatants have disappointed this year compared to the promise shown by both in 2014. Even with speedsters Jones and Davies out to injury and U20 duty respectively, the Rats will win confortably by 15-20.

West Harbour v Penrith. Provided they can get a full 80 minutes of footy in, the Pirates will win comfortably by 15+.

Sydney University v Randwick. The battle of the young folk. This will be a draw with Byron Hodge slotting a PG after the siren to tie it all up after a rather spiteful and really dour, mistake ridden game played in terrible conditions underfoot.

The Wicks will miss Kellaway and Faleallii with both their replacements promoted from 1sts Colts. Interesting to see how they go -- Short (half) has had some 1st grade experience off the bench and Starkey (centre) has played 1 game.

I believe the Back to Easts Day has been called off today, with the match being postponed, wonder if any other matches are called off?

Think Students v Randwick is still on for tonight?

Did some digging around in Facebook and hearing from a reliable source, Eastern Subs v Eastwood has been moved to TJ Milner Field for the two top grades only. Syd Uni v Randwick still on for tonight with only the top grade playing. Wests v Penrith 3rd and 4ths have been postponed.
All Norths v Manly matches postponed to June long weekend.
Gordon v Souths, only the first grade is playing today.
Unclear about Parra v Warringah

Highlanders 14 Hobbits 7 at oranges at Chatswood Oval.

Playing surface looks ok. Not much mud visible but plenty of water splashing up.

Big downpour dumped a bunch of liquid sunshine just before kickoff.

Edit: 62 minutes gone at Chatswood Oval. Highlanders lead Hobbits 14 (2T 2C) -13 (1T 1C 2 PG).

71 minutes: Hobbits 20 Highlanders 14
73 minutes: Highlanders meat pie. Highlanders 21 Hobbits 20.
76 minutes: VolvoVolvo kicks PG from 45metres. Hobbits 23 Highlanders 21
Full Time: Hobbits 23 Highlanders 21.

Beasties are the most ridiculous team in all of sport. Get pumped by mid-table teams and lose to shit teams. Then they compete very well vs the big guns. How many times in the past year have they beaten or gotten really close to Uni, Eastwood and Manly?? They got pumped vs Souths, Randwick, Norths.

The fuck is wrong with them? Different coach too.
