Great work, HJarse. I think this does show that there has been the same core group of forwards (they may have changed positions occasionally), but that there has been significant shuffling in the backs apart from Le Vin.

And also that they are reluctant to make replacements during the match. I suspect the replacements would be the same names every time. In other words they have stuck pretty much to the same core forwards and the same forward replacement/s.

Congratulations and good luck to Amy Perrett!
First female to referee a 1st grade SS game (Uni v Gordon) and well deserved too IMO.
A challenge for the palyers -- how many will still call her sir ;)
I'd favour the royal Ma'am . I know a lot of players seriously rate her and an appointment thoroughly deserved

While not wanting to take away from Amy's achievement, she is the 3rd female not the 1st.

My tips for this round

Eastern Suburbs v Parramatta. The M2B have a lot riding on this match if they are serious about their finals aspirations. M2B by <10.
Penrith v West Harbour. Pirates will be too strong but there will be a stack of meat pies scored. Guaranteed that the World Famous Emu Burgers will be awesome. Pirates by 10 - 15.

Manly v Northern Suburbs. Shoremen will suffer a backlash from the loss to the Rats last week. MMM by >25.

Sydney University v Gordon. The Corporation are putting the final touches on their finals preparation. They will be too good at home against a team in indifferent form. Students by 15.

Randwick v Warringah. Rats will be confident, too strong, too composed, too fit and too fast. Rats by 20.

Eastwood v Southern Districts. Tipping the Hobbits for the upset of the round. Woodies are due for another of their wobbles they seem to have been experiencing inexplicably this year from time to time. It will be close but the Hobbits to take the chocolates by < 5.

Club Championship Watch

There are 215 (43 x 5 - 4 win and 1 for 4t BP) * points up for grabs this week for each club, less Uni which can only get 205 (41 x 5) points (no Colts 3 game vs Gordon).

Manly: Currently 2748 (lead of 24 points). Will take max points in Grade. Will struggle in Colts 1 and 2. Prediction is to stay in 1st place - but with much reduced margin.

Eastwood. Currently 2724 (neck and neck with Uni for 2nd/3rd). Will drop some grades and colts. Prediction is to give up 2nd place to the Students.

Uni. Currently 2722 (3rd place by 2 points). Should get the chocolates in all grades and Colts. No points available for Colts 3. Prediction is to get very close to top slot.

The rest have given the above too much of a head start.

* Shute Shield = 15 x multiplier, Reserve Grade = 8 multiplier, 3rds = 5 x multiplier, 4ths = 4 x mulitplier, Colts 1 = 6 x multiplier, Colts 2 = 3 x multiplier, Colts 3 = 2 x multiplier. Points available are 4 for a win, 2 for draw, 1 BP for 4t, 1 BP for loss by < 7.

Eastwood never win at Forshaw, why would this season be any different?

Souths also beat them at TG with a much weaker side. Tough one for Eastwood but with a next round clash with Warringah looming this is a must win for them.
