Josh Turner is surely the hardest done by out of the men to miss out.

I would have thought he was a very likely selection.

Came off with concussion in the game against Fiji or Japan at Ballymore the other week (I can't remember which one). She was pretty rattled so I hope that isn't the reason

The one thing I didn't realise initially is that the tournaments weren't to be held concurrently; the men are wrapped up before the women commence. Which is obviously the big difference from the normal 7's Circuit.

Interesting to see big Marky Mark (Nawaqanitawase) make the switch after his code swap. Keen to see how he goes in the faster game. Has he played in any games yet. If so where can I watch

In fairness the Olympics rarely place much emphasis on the time zones of us Antipodeans when scheduling the events. It's all about the USofA.
Somewhat surprising that China and Japan don’t have more pull but I guess there can only be one numero uno.

It’s a shame for RA because it’s golden exposure. Especially for the women, there’s just nothing that is nearly as cool in the WAFL or NRLW. In saying that, if they can get a gold medal before the games even start it’ll be huge coverage on the morning shows.

Caught up this morning. Liked the second half of the Samoan game. Looked nervous in the first half with some poor passes but got into the grind and broke them eventually.

Dowling looked sharp and composed. He's a guy I hope gets another run at 15s. Probably used too soon and in a poor side intially.

Gonzalez and Patterson made a hell of a difference when they got on. Is Longbottom better used as a sub in the last 3-4 mins when heavy legs set in?
