Can't give any points to our forwards tonight I thought their attack was awful in the 1st half if any forwards deserves a mention it's Liam Gill, AWH & James Hanson.

3)quade cooper- even though kicking was way off par, he lead the team superbly in attack!
2)Ben Tapuai- Defence was too good! i dont think he missed a tackle, tapuai/Fa ainga best defensive centre pair perhaps?
1)Rod Davies- Awesome finishing.

Not a fan of defense? They went alright in the tough stuff, leave the flashy stuff to Cooper.

Best attacking backline in world rugby, and not bad defensively either. Quade actually made some dominant tackles tonight!

3. Cooper (by a mile) - best effort all year - when he took on the line things happened
2. Rocket - 3 tries and great lines - his best game by far
1. Taps - missed first tackle then awesome

don't thinkl Genia played that well but just my opinion
we need a kicker !!!!!!!!!!!!

Forwards are not backs. To tick boxes for forwards you look at defence and the turnover of ball. How many balls did Horwill pluck out of the air and get it over the advantage line. Clean ball at the lineout set up a beautiful try. Backs and forwards are poles apart in what is expected of their game. The backs got good clean ball and where do you think that comes from!!!!! If our forwards hadn't of done their job the blues would have been all over us.

Lot of guys were head down bum up and they all did their jobs. Couldn't pick a MOM because that was surely a team effort.

3 Horwill (for leadership throughout and consistently intense and skilful breakdown work at crucial moments...how anyone could assess that Horwill is now not the right Captain for Australia in the RWC surprises me...it took Elsom nearly 2 years from early 2009 to be back to be playing quite well, and the same amount of time to captain to an adequate, not exceptional, standard. Horwill has shown superb captaincy skills all year and and directed the Reds team to wins in many close games that got the Reds to No 1 in the S15 with the best w-l ratio, that experience and proven leadership capability will be invaluable in the RWC IMO.)

2 Cooper (though Cooper clearly has serious uncorrected technical (and maybe emotive too) flaws in his place kicking technique that could conceivably, in and of itself, lose a Final v Cru/Carter)

1 Davies (we'll see if Drew M recovers in time, but all of Davies' speed, agility, composure, fending skill, and defence, make him Test winger quality in 2011 and Deans would be mad not to consider him.)
