Big fan of defence they missed a shit load of tackles we were lucky it was the Blues going wide early & not the Crusaders going hard & straight. Need to improve up front next saturday.

Forwards are not backs. To tick boxes for forwards you look at defence and the turnover of ball. How many balls did Horwill pluck out of the air and get it over the advantage line. Clean ball at the lineout set up a beautiful try. Backs and forwards are poles apart in what is expected of their game. The backs got good clean ball and where do you think that comes from!!!!! If our forwards hadn't of done their job the blues would have been all over us.

I don't want them to be backs I want them to secure possesion & they didn't do that well last night even McKenzie said that at halftime. Sure they tackled well & scrambled well but we won't win on 34% possesion against the saders.

We were well beaten in the scrum & lineout & lets not forget 3 out of 4 tries come from 1st phase.
